Lots of before and after images too including yours truly.
I asked Dr.C if the implant and PMMA fillers can coexist a few years ago. He replied to me in the forum. He had patients with IPP who got fillers. Also patients with fillers who later got IPP.
These fillers are caller dermal filler for a reason and most if not all now use a blunt cannula to inject it. So the risk of puncturing the cylinders is close to zero. Still a good idea to get clearance from your implant surgeon if you are getting filler from a different doctor.
Lot of fillers doctors are not urologist..usually dermatologist who stumbled upon an off label use of dermal fillers and a lucrative patient base.
Glad to see that lot of implant surgeons now have started fillers.
Just make sure you don't get P shot ever if you have an implant.
Ill add to this. After extensive due diligence, I regard Avanti Derma as being like the Dr. Eid of filler world. They pioneered a lot of the field.
I have an upcoming appointment with them in September for a semi-permanent filler. I will let everyone know how it goes.
That being said, Dr. Hakky would be my go-to in the US if you want to try a non-perm filler like HA first. Unfortunately he doesnt offer the perm filles I'm interested in (alhtough he does offer a permanent fat filler, which can be a good idea for some guys). In summary I'd recommend getting HA filler with Hakky or another reputable US group, and/or go to Avanti Derma for the permanent.
As for puncturing the implant, Dr. Hakky also uses a blunt-tip canula. He told me that it would be near impossible to puncture the implant with that instrument. Therefore, I'm comfortable with any sound practice that uses a blunt tip canula. There are, howeveer, some filler practices that just use a straight up needle - I'd personally be wary of those.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.
