smb_racing wrote:Hey everyone, tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my surgery and overall I'm doing ok. I am still having a lot of swelling that comes and goes in my scrotum, and a bit of pain right behind my gland and at the base of the shaft, which my surgical team says is normal and expected. My only question is, really? After almost 2 weeks still a significant amount of swelling? Anyone else have this issue?

Journeyman,
Yes, a jock strap (athletic supporter) is made a a pretty thick material and the bunching at the apex (pouch and butt-straps) can be irritating. But there is another solution to keeping your penis pointed up and the pouch in place.
Thong.
After all, a thong is just a jock strap with one central backstrap instead of two butt straps.
If you can get used to a string up between your butt-cheeks, it is stable and supportive. And if you can't get used to the string, you can replace it with two strings where the jock strap's rear straps used to go.
A thong is easy to make from a piece of stretchy cloth long enough to reach from your waistline to (at least as far as) your anus or even to your waistline in the back. It must be wide enough to cover your scrotum (which most women's thongs are not).
My girlfriend likes me in a thong, an added benefit to the superior support over conventional boxer-briefs.
P.S. I would stay away from the conventional men's thongs as well as women's thongs. I bought some from Amazon and fouund them hyper-sexualized, uncomfortable, too small for support and not nearly as good as the ones I can make myself by simple hand-sewing.
