Update - Day 11

So far i'm healing really well. I think the swelling on my dick is completely gone. My balls are still a bit swollen and the skin feels thicker, but it's really not bad at all. I can easily feel all parts of the pump. My incision looks to be healing really well too, i think it's completely closed.

I didn't ice past 2 days. What i did though is use LED Infra Red light for like 2 hours a day on my incision. This helped to keep it dry and speeds up healing a lot. Can recommend.

I get some random shooting pains in the tip of my dick and in the balls behind the pump here and there, but it's very managable. Most of the time i don't feel any pain.

I noticed that the underside of my dick is numb, and also part of my scrotum. I hear this is normal though and should go back to normal within a few months. I really hope it does.

So far i'm really happy with my recovery and the feeling of the implant. Size is looking great too. I think i can even gain some size over time. I still get good bloodflow, and hope to improve this even more in the future.

What bothers me a lot is my tubing. It's bulging out of my scrotum on the left side. I have no idea how this happened, it's too long and easily visible. It's not gonna settle with time, the tubing is just too long. It makes my pump lay kinda sideways in my scrotum too.
At first i thought my reservoir might has migrated down a bit and pushed some tubing back, but i'm now certain this is not the case. I can feel my reservoir and it's in the exact same spot from when i woke up from surgery.

I want to get this corrected asap. For almost two years of my life i was worrying about my dick every day, i'm not gonna let this tubing issue bother me everyday. I'll try to get a minor revision to shorten the tubing as soon as i'm fully healed and also have some skin taken off my scrotum in the same surgery, as my balls can hang pretty low sometimes.

I'm upset as this would have been easily avoidable in my opinion. But all in all i'm still happy, cause i think this implant is gonna be great.

The numbness will definitely go away, I'm 17 month out now and when I put on a condom it feels normal now when I roll it down to the base of my dick. When I started to use my Bionic dick at 6 weeks, it was definitely an issue with the numbness at that time because it felt weird and it interfered a little with sex because of the numbness. But it's all good now.

That's interesting about your tubing problem, especially with the high volume Dr that you used, because I've seen on several YouTube videos where the surgeon ties down the tubes to prevent them from being a hinderance.
I guess that it is something that can be overlooked but I hear you that it needs to be fixed. I'm sure you are in contact with him about this.
I'm thankful that I don't have that problem even though I had my surgery done at a large military hospital in San Antonio, Tx by an Army Major Urologist Surgeon. (Low Volume Surgeon).

I hope you do get it worked out, especially at your age because it can weigh heavy on your mind.

Hey man, really happy to hear that your surgery went well. Keep us updated especially when you will start activating and using it. The tubing bulge must really be a pain the ass but al least you know is nothing serious and you are in the hands of a great surgeon which surely can appropriately deal with that.

Update - Week 6

I just had my post op appointment with Dr. Clavell. I'm cleared for sex.

Good part first :

- I get very good bloodflow to my glans and spongiosum, and decent blooflow around the cylinders
- Recovery was easy pain wise. Some shooting pain in the tips in the nights, otherwise a breeze
- Size is looking good. I expect to gain some over my original length over time
- Dick is looking good and pretty natural. I also don't have the oval shape at all when aroused.

Bad part:

- I now know why my tubing is bulging out in my scroutm. Apparently my reservoir migrated down / herniated. The hard plastic part at the beginning of the reservoir (the thing to prevent auto inflation - where the tubing attaches) is sitting next to my dickbase on the pubic bone. It's supposed to be above the pubic bone. I can push it upwards with my fingers and if i do that, my tubing bulge disappears.
This fucking sucks, apparently i'm only his 3rd patient to have this happen. It must have happened on the way from the hospital to my hotel, because the issue was already visible when i removed the bandages.

The fix would be an incision on my abdomen, put in a new reservoir, and fixate it with stitches to the fascia so it won't happen again. (no work on my dick and scrotum needed, which is good)
Dr. Clavell offered to do it for free which i really appreciate. Still, i'll have to pay the new reservoir, flight, hospital, anesthesia, medication, hotel, transportation. There is the infection risk, the risk of something else going wrong. New scar. Wrecking my gut again by taking the antibiotics. Taking time off work. Healing time sitting around for weeks again.

With the crazy flight prices rn it's gonna cost me like 8 grand in total again easily.

Additionally, because i have a short crus, the tubing from the cylinders is also not optimal. It's gonna be visible anyway when my scrotum is relaxed.

I could get the revision next week or in 2 weeks. I might do it next week, cause i fucking want this sorted. Dr Clavell said i could leave it like this, but i don't think it's a good idea. The tubing is bent and rubbing against each other, which will ceartainly be bad for durability if not corrected. Does anyone have an opinion on what to do?

- My tips seem to be a bit close to the underside of my glans. Not optimal. There is not a lot of tissue in between the tips and the skin on the underside. Luckily i get great glans engorgement, so i hope the tissue will stay fine, but it's still a small risk.

- Gabapentin pain med is no joke. I only took it 2 weeks and had a small withdrawal. I couldn't sleep for like 3 days and had a headache for a few days after i stopped it. It's uncommon to get withdrawals so quickly, but i'd advise anyone to not take it if you can aviod.

It's a shame this reservoir thing happened. This is gonna be my 3rd surgery within 4 months. If this didn't happen, i'd be off to Thailand in July enjoying my life. Eventhough it sucks, i'm grateful because i think if this issue is fixed, the implant is gonna be great.

I really hope the revision will go well and finally give me some peace for a few years at least...

I'm sick about the tubing issue your having . What lousy luck . Let's look at the positives ....
1) YOU GOT THE IMPLANT! CONGRATS . Those days of should I or shouldn't I, or even if you're able to are over . Those days can be filled with uncertainty and anxiety. It's behind you now .
2) You had Dr. Clavell do it . He's not only a top surgeon but also a stand up guy . He'll fix it and do his best to mitigate any additional costs you may incur.

3) 20cm implant is just under 8" long . If you add the glans AND have a short crus ..... I believe you'll measure way over 6" . Make sure you're measuring your penis correctly. I didn't realize I was doing it wrong my whole life until I saw " bpl length " on this site and Googled it . ( I apologize if you already know this ) Bpl = bone pressed length. You jam a ruler into your skin /pubic fat area until you hit the bone. I think you're gonna crush 6" in length with a 20cm implant. ( if you haven't read it , I started a post called " aggressive cycling...incredible gains " chronicling my implant/ cycling journey. Check it out . Good luck to you. So sorry to hear about those issues you’re having man. And it’s unfortunate that it’s really inconvenient just to get the repair done. Does Dr. Clavell have a theory for why it happened? I’m wondering if you’re suspensory ligament repair has anything to do with it?

Got implanted by Dr. Clavell yesterday. 20cm Titan, no RTEs. He said i have a super short crus and a big part of the implant will be outisde, he said i'll be happy haha. He mentioned everything went smooth and well, but that i had quite a bit of scarring in my crus, which i think did contribute to the instabiliy i had at the base. This is calming for me to hear, i know the implant really was the only choice now.

After waking up from surgery, i had pretty bad pain and they gave me some morphine. They said it's normal. I managed to pee a bit after like 5 hours, so thankfully i could avoid the catheter. I requested to take one with me just to be safe, cause it really wasn't easy to pee. Didn't need it tough thank god.

Now I'm in my hotel room (Marriot in medical district -quite nice hotel, can recommend) recovering. I ice here and there but not all the time. Pain is low at the monent. No pain in my balls at all. When i feel pain it's mostly in the tip and where my ligament issue was. I think the handling of the surgery put pressure on my ligament which it didn't like. This was expected though and it should heal well now that i can't touch my dick for 6 weeks.

My dick is pretty swollen and cold sometimes. I'm not too concerned cause when i walk, it gets warm, i guess it's just from the trauma of surgery and swelling.

I plan to fly home tomorrow (12 hour flight, one stop). I try to upgrade to business class with miles, but they only can let me know right before the flight if it worked lol. Hope it will work cause i'm not looking forward to that flight haha.

So far, i'm relieved the surgery is behind me and went well. I still fear what i'll see when that dressing comes off and what i'll feel when the nerve block wears off though. I'll update when i'm back home.

Doesn't Dr Clavell say that he uses an injection to prevent pain for 72hrs?

He uses a nerve block, which works differently in every person. I only used Tylenol during my recovery, and flew home with no pain at all 40 hours after surgery. Once the block wore off, I only had minor discomfort. I also iced constantly from my taint to the tip and the top side to the tip wrapped like a dick sandwich for the first week.

The nerve block does not numb your crus. I felt the tips down there, it was just weird, but not painful.
