Do successful implant men stay on Frank Talk?

Frank66665, you have my sympathies. Not everyone has a perfect, or even a good outcome and I am sorry your outcome was poor. But I must point out that even if you were lied to, yours is not the usual experience.

Some men are dissatisfied because they had unrealistic expectations. Whether those expectations are based on lies they were told or self-delusion is arguable, but their dissatisfaction is real. Some men are dissatisfied because of medical mistake or other misadventure in the operation. Some men are dissatisfied because they did not follow pre-op or post-op protocols (or were not informed of them).

There are many reasons for a patient to be dissatisfied with any medical procedure but to make a blanket condemnation of IPP surgery (or appendectomy, childbirth, carpal-tunnel, etc) based on one experience (or several anecdotal experiences) is folly.

By all means, warn other men that success in not guaranteed, but please do not condemn this operation (or the entire medical profession) because of a few (yours included) bad outcomes.

If I had your result, I would make every effort to get the blunder repaired. My faith in the medical profession is not diminished. My faith in my own ability to look beyond some doctor's hype and self-aggrandisement to see true facts buoys my hope that you, too, will find satisfaction if you look for it.

It was 5 months after my implant when I found FT. How I wish I could take what I've learned here and go back about 5 months before my implant. But I don't think many stay long term except for the occasional drop in.
And I know there are a few who have come here for advice, decided to get implanted but they haven't come back since.

thank you Lost Sheep for your solidarity, I do not condemn the whole category, I only say that this procedure is full of risks, and that it should be recommended to those who have tried everything with poor results, I have even heard that someone recommends it for PE, or to people who have only tried cialis with poor results, I have followed all the protocols diligently, according to the implantologist there are no medical errors and the operation went perfectly with an excellent result, even if I made every effort to repair it with a doctor who guarantees your success? in this operation it is like the dog chasing its tail, for the doctor this operation has already been successful, the result is glans that does not swell, oval cock and loss of circumference, toes that hurt, orgasm that reaches 50 % of the time, if this is a successful operation I would have easily done without

I was told that I would be able to have intercourse again, but not me the doctor made mine a boy's size so it is too short for successful intercourse. they say go and get it fixed cant other doctors do not want to get involved in another doctor's screw-ups. I've been to 4 so far and it's going on 5 years and no intercourse. Do you want to know if men who have had successful implants are still here? Yes, the few that are happy are the only ones who are still here. And the rest of us are pushed out so they don't hear the truth.

I plan to stick around, mainly to discuss and stay up to date with the research about VEDs being effective and importantly implants being capable of regaining/gaining more dick size. That and I'm interested in future models that are controlled over Bluetooth, and all the other ways implants might improve over the next few decades.

I'd estimate there's a lot of men out there who could seriously improve their quality of life by finally getting an implant. But so many refuse, and for terrible reasons. I even know of and have discussed before about how some men won't even talk to their primary care doctors about very serious urinary problems, because there's some societal shit about men who won't talk to other men about dicks, even if it's with their doctor.

This could be a good forum for helping a lot of men. But I might as well admit I'm not doing it all for charitable purposes out of the goodness of my heart. I'm a dude who was lucky to be born with and doesn't deserve a much bigger than average dick, and talking about it plus having other uses for it in the future is also in my interest.

I agree . I'm new to Franktalk. I think it's an invaluable resource of information for all men , pre and post op . I stumbled upon this site the day AFTER my surgery when I was looking for more info on the coloplast titan 22cm ( what Dr. Clavell implanted me with ) . I don't know if it was residual effects from the anesthesia, but I was a little bummed out . I was hoping for 24cm or better . Well when I came across this site ( and it's search bar ) , you couldn't peel me away from my phone ( I was just sitting in the hotel room anyway, all black and blue , swollen and sore ) . I've been hooked since . Everyday I learn something new and I like to share my experiences.

Absolutely.
I really have no complaints about my implant and it was one of the best decisions I had to make.
However, I am on FT every day, and find it normal to give an opinion or advice from time to time to whom it can help.
