Are there any benefits (or dangers) to leaving the implant partially inflated

My surgeon also told me the cylinders are virtually indestructible and the only danger in inflating is erosion of the skin at the tip if erect all the time. That makes sense because there is not the same pressure on the tip when even partially inflated. She said that after the first two-year period of inflate/deflate regimen, it was okay to partially inflate for comfort or appearance After that two-year break in period she recommended I be sure to occasionally fully inflate/deflate. I fully deflate when I sleep and then I inflate a little bit for comfort during the day. Because of a very distinct dog ear on one side, I partially inflate when wearing a swim brief. The bulge is bigger, but somewhat less noticeable since there is no knot showing from the dog ear. It is more comfortable even it there is an outline of the penis. Anyway, based on what I was told, after the first two years, inflate as you wish but don't have it fully erect.

Dr Eid says in a couple videos that he has personally only seen one failed implant that the issue was in the actual cylinders. That says a LOT! Said the failure is mostly in the tubing and some in the pump. He states that the cylinders are virtually indestructible. Also I have had dogears since the first time I deflated. I personally do t see how you could NOT have them if the cylinder is bent over. I would bet that a lot of implanted have the dog ears if they would feel up the side of their shaft back in toward the pubic bone. If you bend a tube it’s just going to dogear to some degree. I usually leave a pump or two in mine to keep them from being so pokey although my tissue has toughened up to the point that it never physically hurts at all, you can just feel them as mine bends about 3/4” past my pubic bone and I have very little fat pad.

are you guys talking about the titan or is this true for AMS as well?

All I can account for is my titan but like I stated if it bends down I can’t see how it wouldn’t have somewhat of a dogear. Picture the old surgical tubing we used to see on old slingshots. If you bend the tubing it will have a dog ear at some point maybe not so noticeable in some due to where it’s bending or if you have a bit more fat pad in the location where it’s bending.

A surgeon told me that not fully deflating can cause the supporting tissues to stretch over time and cause loss of erection angle.
