I was implanted December of 22. I’ve flown 62 times since then and it has never gone off on the pre check scanner. I was pulled for a rando once and I refused the overhead scanner. I did have my card with me but for shits and giggles just wanted to see how far they were going to go. They just did a pat down and when he went over my junk a few times I asked him if this means we were “exclusive”. He just said have a good day sir and that was it.

Should I go through that device where you raise your arms above head? Will that set off an alarm requiring further inspection? Will the inspection cause some TSA agent to harshly grope my fragile, just implanted, and still sutured penis? Any/all advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Just came and went thru O'Hare, Chicago.
My left hip replacement fired off a check but not my implant.
Keep that wallet sized card handy that you got from Boston Scientific (or Coloplast) just in case.

I've flown 7 times since my procedure.

I guess I'm gonna have to start pulling out my little Boston Scientific implant card. We've flown 6 times after not flying during the COVID and the rehab from my Bionic Dick and my left knee replacement the last few months. The first time was at San Antonio airport when I went through the pre-scanner and it went off, so they asked if I had any implant, and I told them about my left knee replacement, so they had me go through the big scanner where you put your arms above your head. Since that first encounter, I've told all the TSA areas that I need to go through the big scanner and a few of the airports it hasn't been too much of a problem, I just get scanned and continue on, but at Panama City Beach, Florida a small airport in the the panhandle of Florida on 18 October, I told them that I have a total knee replacement, and when I went through the big scanner and it didn't pick up the knee replacement, it picked up the implant because they showed me the scanner picture (a small orange square right at my private area) and they had to pat me down in my private part area. I think the next flight we take, I'm gonna whip out my Boston Scientific card and see if they still pat me down after going through the big scanner. It hasn't been a big problem because we have our Global Entry cards which always gives us Pre-Tsa, hopefully I won't have to get patted down next time.
