Gotcha.

She has done into the thousands. I was told "hundreds, no into the thousands now, well tons"..

I contacted a manufacturer, confirmed, "She's done a ton of these". They recommended her...

Until her, my urologist had always been older than me, and either retired or died. My regular retired physicians both go to her. She's also skilled on DaVinci.

I don't consider WV the medical epicenter of the country either but we all can't goto Clavell, Perito, or Eid. I've also heard a ton horror stories from the best places....

Insofar as her gender, having studied the male urinary system on an amateur level for the past 6 years, and initially second guessing her, it took me about one prostate scare to realize she has her stuff together...

I think the bottom line is to be vigilant and your own active advocate....

My condolences on your childhood up bringing...

In many ways WV has changed over the years. Some good, some not so much. Currently the north and south ends of the state are gobbling the little ones up. FWIW I wouldn't recommend WVU Medicine to anyone. You're the guinea pig....

I mean: I would be wary of a woman understanding the importance of a great outcome with this sort of procedure. I’m not doubting her ability…just the simple understanding of what a man wants from this.

And

West Virginia isn’t exactly the place I think of when it comes to the best doctors. I grew up 40 minutes from Huntington WV and I know what kind of service you get around there in almost every field

Hahaha that's exactly what I thought.
I dug deep into her history. I still came up "yes".

I'm a week out.... still yes.
