In my case I didn't want a malleable and it was my second implant, third implant in less than 3 months. The doctor and I agreed to wait and allow more healing. After 11 months, I went to a more experienced surgeon and had my third implant. I'm almost at 3 months post surgery and couldn't be happier.

The infection was bad enough that the second implant had to be removed. Then I had to wait a minimum of 6 months to try again. I didn't feel recovered enough for 11 months

Obviously, but it's coming back. Of course I could care less. It's better to have a working smaller penis than a big broke dick

I just lived this subject.
Very minor infection with a bit of drainage from my incision line 6 weeks after my initial implant placement. 3 weeks of antibiotics nearly cleared it up but Dr. Clavell was firm that the implant required replacement. He is a credit to his profession and responded with kindness, support and confidence.
Replacement Titan surgery was simple with an easy recovery, much easier than the initial placement.
Now post-op 8 weeks with no loss of size and thrilled with my results. My wife and I enjoy a sex life like we did 30 years ago.

Moral of the story: Seek out an experienced expert in the field and trust your instincts in evaluating their bedside manner. Dr. Clavell has earned my forever trust. And I'm a surgeon.
