Swimmer here also with a speedo. Yes a bit of a shower but hey.
My surgeon selected the Titan versus the AMS and he said it was because of my anatomy.
I figured he was the doctor. He was the expert. Let him make the decision.
I am single so my Titan gets used in a lot of different environments. I've had a couple tell me it's too hard but that has definitely been the minority.
Usually I get asked for multiple repeat sessions.
I would talk to your surgeon and get his opinion of which to go with.
I think people get wraped up in the dog ears. At the beginning I can understand what they were talking about but within a couple months it's a non-event and it's become part of me.

What do you think they meant by this? Speaking as a gay guy, I've never met a dick that was "too hard."

Everyone has their own taste. If it's too hard then I let some saline out.
The good thing is ee have the ability to adjust

Additional question: I have a 30 degree congenital curve upwards… wouldnt be the Titan better to correct it?
Titan does better for Peyronies and curvature. If you get AMS, make sure it’s a CX. I got Titan because Dr Clavell, Eid, Perito, and Hakkey specifically recommended it for younger guys (especially with Peyronies curvature). Eid says the Titan cylinders are indestructible.
I actually like being a shower now with Titan flaccid. I prefer it than my natural small limp flaccid. Dr Clavell showed me how to eliminate dog ears. It used to be very pronounced until he showed me how to correct. Now it’s unnoticeable

DonkeyKing / Journeyman: Dr Clavell gave me the following advice for dog ears. My flaccid penis was shaped like an “S” or “?”. He said this and dog ears were caused because I mostly rested the penis on one side only, in my pants / underwear. I should have been rotating resting sides. To fix this, he suggested to rest my penis in the opposite side in my pants / underwear. I used to rest it on right side, I switched it to left side. I ensured it wasn’t pointing down at all, but fully horizontally. Additionally, when lying in my bed, I held horizontally/ opposite side, until it touched my stomach. I held it here for 15 mins, twice a day. With these exercises, I saw improvement within 24-48 hours. It eliminated the “S” “?” shape and curvature. It didn’t fully remove the kink, it but definitely improved the kink.

I'm considering Dr. Clavell for my surgery and leaning towards the Titan. Could you please share your flaccid and erect length and girth? I've also PMed you with a few other questions.
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

Many thanks for all your helpful answers... hard to decide, but:
Well, I measured a circumference of the penis of 5,7 inches (= 14,5 cm), that means, the AMS woudnt fill it, so it will be the Titan i guess...

That is a false belief. My pumped girth is 6 inches (15cm). This belief of poor girth with at least the CX model is clearly wrong & won't seem to die despite several members with 6" or more girths.
My dr is well connected to Boston Scientific. He told me in person that the CX does indeed expand. Just BS chooses to not advertise it for some reason.

Totally agree with you, I read that the Titan is so much more rigid, gives you bigger girth, etc... I now have had both mfgs and AMS LGX", quote" is The only penile implant on the U.S. market with cylinders designed to expand in girth up to 20 mm and length of up to 25%. The Titan was good for my Peyronie's first time around, the revision both surgeons recommended the AMS. I will say this that when I pump up as much as I can you will not bend it, same as the Titan, but I will continue to cycle and see if I do get 25% more length.... And maybe 3/4" in girth.

Ah, many thanks; just oone more question: And what is the difference between the LGX and the CX? I have a 30 degree congential curve, not Peyronies, and I am wondering if that alone would be a reason to choose the Titan....
