For me, it’s not about attempting to hide the bulge. It’s a matter of physical discomfort. Certain exercises can smash the boy-parts, and it friggin hurts! LOL! I don’t have a prudish bone in my body, and I couldn’t care less about what other folks can or cannot see. But the implant can become a painful distraction, and I’d rather keep my attention on maintaining proper form while lifting. I’m only 9 months post-op, and it continues to (slowly!) become more comfortable over time. Hopefully I’ll get to a point where I no longer feel discomfort at the gym, but I’m not there yet. And I know I’m not alone in this experience. Plenty of other guys have mentioned needing better support after an implant procedure.
Aggressive prostate cancer (genetically predisposed) at 52. Required immediate intervention. Robot Assisted Radical Prostatectomy (RARP) in December 2021. Erectile function never returned. Penile implant (AMS-700) in March 2024. Bionic Boys Club FTW!

AntonS, I ride a MTB that I've made some changes to to make it more road friendly. It's now sort of a hybrid. As I mentioned, I run the same saddle I did before the implant with zero issues. I think it was a $20 Amazon saddle which I found to be very comfortable for my particular topography down there.

I've never had a Titan, but from what I've gleaned from FT, the difference in comfort of the CX in the flaccid state is considerably better than the Titan. I've mentioned this numerous times on FT, but my math shows that my implant will be in the flaccid state for more than for 96% of the rest of my life (and that's figuring something like 3x per week for 3 hours each time until the day I die...highly unlikely) I think if you put a high value on exercise, movement and comfort for the 90%+ of the time you won't have the implant deployed, there's a strong case to be made for the CX.

I don't believe Dr. Clavell has an implant, although I didn't check ;) I think he's 100% correct in that either implant will be just fine with bike riding and any sort of popular exercise, in that the implant will not be affected, but your comfort may be.

I'm almost 2 years out, and from the 6 month mark I could completely forget I had an implant no matter what activity I was involved with.

There was a user on here who was an avid road cyclist, cycling many tens of miles weekly (daily?) and he had already gone through several implant failures in a short number of years. I suspect the repetitive motion of road cycling greatly accelerated the wear on his tubing causing them to fail early.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Interesting to see in your signature that you're also a fit guy who had an implant early on in life. Can you tell us more about your story, if you don't mind? What was the first implantation process like almost 25 years ago?

I'm 34 years old and got implanted 9 days ago and am also quite active and athletic. Hoping for long-term success.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024. Read my implant journal here.

I waited 4 weeks before lifting....although I was doing some light bands at 3 weeks.
6 weeks after I was lifting at 100% intensity.

Did a meet 4 months after and broke 4 Indiana state records.

Wow! You're way beyond what I'll ever do but it's reassuring that I should be back in about the time my doctor quoted. Thank you.
