I am terrified of getting an infection and still not completely out of the woods, but wouldn't wish it on my enemy.

Rough few days. Went for drainage of the infection and it seemed at the time of the surgery there was concern that may have gotten to the implant specifically around the pump. Dr. Patel was able to clean out everything, remove the old implant and place a coloplast malleable. I stayed in the hospital for iv antibiotics and i had difficult time urinating and ultimately ended up with foley for 2 days. Had two drains that got removed. Things are still pretty swollen but the pain is definitively better.

Not the outcome I was expecting but was told that can revisit getting inflatable in 2 months, but some men do great with malleable. hoping for the best.

Hope if anything this is a message for other guys out there thinking about girth enhancement with implant - be really careful, its not worth, in hindsight.

Its been about two weeks with my Genesis after my infection. Still somewhat bumped out, but the malleable has great rigidity and I could use for sex (Although i've have my appointment next week) and I've tried to masturbate.

Doc said that he could put in an inflatable as early as two months if I wanted depending on how I heal. Should I go ahead and schedule or just feel out the malleable? Is there a disadvantage to waiting on the inflatable. I think about losing more size, which was my concern initially.

jwitten567, why are you decided to get fat injection with inflatable impalnt? How much girth you lost with ipp? Guys with mpp usually think about considering fillers or fat transfer.

My 2 cents worth which in today's economy is worth far less than the face value anymore.. unless you have a real micro penis .. if you got an implant ..your able to have sex ..leave the fucking thing alone! .. How many disaster stories do guys have to hear to know that if they screw around they might become one of those stories. 12 months .. 1st one for the implant ..2nd one 30 days later when they thought I had an infection which I did not ..and 3rd one 12 months later due to the undersizing of the implant .. each surgery left me in pain ..unable to climax ..just as I started healing they'd cut again .. I have what I have ..as long as I don't lose ground I'm 71 lucky to be alive let alone have a hard cock I can use .. well that might have been a whole nickel's worth instead of 2 cents ..sorry ..

Wise wisdom Sir. Anytime we cut or make a hole in our body, we are opening doors for germs to get in and with a foreign object like Implant, we have to worry about this biofilm bullshit. Infection odds will probably never be 0% in our lifetime.

i started to loose some girth after radiation treatments and hormone treatmnents (after i had implant), and started getting desperate and was really inclined towards non-invasive girth enhancement. the fat transfer was not recommended by any of the US docs, and I chose to go to mexico to get it done. it was a dumb decision.

i've been told that i should reconsider the titan again, but i just didn't like it and prefer the AMS. Surgeon told me, once all incisions are healed, that i should start vacuum in anticipation of inflatable if that's what i want to do.

i no longer have a stable sexual partner, so hoping to get this all corrected as soon as possible.

VED after healing sounds like a solid plan. I really don’t think this is something your choice caused, so please try to be kind to yourself. There are so many factors involved, and everyone's immune system has its ups and downs. Things like radiation treatment or immunosuppressants can also impact immunity, so it’s not always a simple cause-and-effect situation. I’m sure you’ll be back on track soon with the implant you choose. Dr. Perito seems to endorse the HA filler variety a lot, which gives me some confidence too, it’s something in my radar.
