Dr Clavell did my implant 2 weeks ago. Post-op I've been left 60% inflated till I start cycling after 4-6 weeks post-op.
I cannot feel my saline reservoir even though I'm fairly lean at 5'11"/175lb.
I cannot see my implants since they're buried inside the corpora cavernosa, not near the surface.
I cannot feel my implants unless I squeeze my shaft really hard. With normal pressure it feels great.
I cannot see my pump inside my scrotum, since Dr Clavell placed in the rear of the scrotum behind the testicles.
My pump is where it should be: at the bottom of my scrotum. You won't get a high riding pump if you use Dr Clavell since he uses a penoscrotal incision.
You only get floppy glans if your implant is too short due to incorrect measurement during surgery.
You won't get a post-op infection if you follow your surgeon's post-op instructions.
That's why you go with a high-volume surgeon (see: Clavell, above).

Agree with @wolfpacker here. It should be the LAST resort. As with all things, there is no perfect solution…only tradeoffs. And if you still have natural function then you are making significant tradeoffs. That said, with an expert surgeon you may only lose some girth-if you around 6 inches, length should be what it is now.
What I wish I knew:
1) Penis will be flat/oval without engorgement after pumping
2) I still need Viagra to get enough engorgement that it feels good
3) Hard to wear a groin protector (I point my penis down instead of up)
4) Recovery was waaay easier than I thought
5) Scope down the urethra to check the bladder was more painful than any of the recovery

So when flaccid your penis is flat? Not sure I’ve heard that one?

Not flat like a piece of paper, but flat like two sharpie markers side by side which is basically what the implant is

EXACTLY!! This is what everyone needs to understand before doing the surgery. Without bloodflow to the glans and shaft, you will have two sharpies and a small head. That said, with engorgement, it will look and feel like your “regular” penis except you stay hard longer…
BUT, depending on your venous leak, you will gradually lose engorgement and end up fucking with two sharpies. So, this may or may not be better than what you have now so choose wisely!

Re: Scheduled a consult but still have some uneasiness about a few things
Comments like having a flat penis and no engorgement are not true for every guy. Again, that's why this forum is not the best for a guy contemplating an implant. Too many negative posts about problems. The guys who have a good working implant are not here talking about all the sex they're having, so remember that.
If you have good engorgement now, that will return once you heal. When the cylinders soften the flat look will go away. I've been there, now 5 years later my penis looks better than what I had before.
Bottom line- what is better, a soft penis only good for peeing or a hard erection from the implant?

I certainly didn’t mean to come across as a negative opinion. That said, I don’t see how you can have anything but a flat penis without natural engorgement AFTER INFLATION. The cylinders only inflate the top left and right side of the penis. The bottom cavern of the penis with the urethra does not/can’t have a cylinder so unless you get natural engorgement, how can you have a natural looking penis?
Some of these posts make it seem like a bionic penis is better than a natural penis. And it MAY be depending on your current situation. That said people need to understand the tradeoffs. I am very grateful to Dr.Eid and am VERY satisfied with the outcome.
And, I completely agree that the implant feels vey natural!

My flaccid penis is not flat nor anything near that.
Maybe the Titan cylinders are stiff enough to have that phenomenon?

Of course your flacid penis isn’t flat. If you pump without arousal, your penis will be flat. As only the top two cavernosa have inflatable cylinders. Search on “oval shape” on this board for pics and diagrams which explain in detail.
