Day 3 after implantation the pain is brutal, it’s giving me anxiety attacks.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

FWIW - I took Oxy 5mg + Tylenol for 2 weeks, iced a lot, and tried to lay down with legs up on pillows. Sitting and standing seemed to cause more pressure. But most of my pain was and still is in the scrotum especially at the bottom where the pump seems to be, like it is rubbing on the inside especially when I walk and it gets rubbed between my thighs. I am at day 19 now and still taking Tylenol once or twice a day because of scrotum pain.

I can't stress this enough - Don't overdo it!!! Yeah, you can get up and do things, but you are going to be jostling things around and stretching out things. Be careful! Yeah - get up, walk, sit for a bit, but...no running all over the place, bending, stretching, nor lifting.

Everyone's pain is different. I have low pain tollerance and have a condition where most NSAIDS / Narcotics don't work as well. I had to be prescribed dilauded - but I was able to ween off that by day 4 - but I was alternating Ibupropherin and Tylenol every 6 hours - even at night - which helped. If you are experiencing pain - call your doctor and tell him - everyone is different.

Best of luck!

Sorry your pain is bad. It is one tender area on the human body to mess with. By now (day 5-6?) heat may ease the pain better than ice. It took several Percocet to calm my pain down. And if you are taking pain drugs take a stool softener too. Constipation pain is almost as bad as the healing pain. When your doc clears you to bathe a hot bath is one way to relieve pain/soreness.

Ice brother, ICE.
You are entering the hardest part of implantation. The slow journey home. Know that each day is a little better than the last.
Talk to the dr’s office, get more drugs as needed. Be patient its a walk for a month. Every day will be better.
We’re here.

Hang in there! It gets better and better as time goes by. The fun you will have is well worth what you are going through now.

Like you, I experienced a lot of post-op pain. Days 3-5 were probably my worst. But I told my doctor the pain meds weren’t working and he upgraded me to stronger medications that really helped! Let your doctor know. You don’t have to suffer this much. Also, keep reminding yourself that this will get better. Slowly. I’m approaching my one-year bionic anniversary and I’m incredibly(!) grateful for the results. Stay strong and let your doctor know. They can help!

The pain will resolve itself. I personally had 13 straight days of agony. Extra pain meds and Ice were my best friend. GL to ya.

Copilot, some folks take more pain meds to kill the pain. Example - when I would get a kidney stone, it would take two Percocet just to take the pain down to a level 2 from 10. My wife could take one Percocet and it would knock her out for hours.

Good luck controlling the pain,
SWorks

Okay thanks S works.

Is there less pain when the implant is deflated ?

Yes, there is less pain when deflated but at your stage in this journey, everything is hurting.

Hang in there, it gets better every day.
