After 3 postponements for various reasons, I'm due for surgery Wednesday morning. I'm having the natural apprehensions, especially after signing the disclosures and consents. (Loss of Penis? )
Over the past two years I've made some progress, correcting a curve that had atrophied in over years of non use, Improving blood flow to the point of getting semi erections that sometimes look effective but don't have enough "oomph" to get in. My lady friend and I have worked out a protocol to please each other as well.
Part of me tries to think that If I keep working at it i could make it back on my own, slowly improving. When I stop and think about it, I don't want my old sex life back. Sometimes it was good, but more often that not I came too fast or I lost it in mid stream. In hindsight I believe I have always had a certain amount of venous leak.
Removing worries of whether my penis will get there and stay there would be a dream come true. I like what Dr Paul Perito says to those who ask if they'll be able to get a natural erection post implant: "You're doing this because you can't get a natural erection now."
So I'm looking to Dr Belew in Cumming to do his best work on Wednesday.
And I'll take all the encouragement I can get from here as well.

--The day plus one. Pudenda (fat pad) swole out, as did the ball sac. Turned purple/Blue and swelled up toward grapefruit size. (at least is felf that way.) Icing off and on. As of this morning the swelling went down some. After being up and down for a time it swelled some more, so i just iced it. So swelling seems controllable.
As of now, I have yet to need pain meds. There are twinges getting up and down, and I'm starting to get a little achiness in the tip. But it just ain't that bad. I'm also peeing straight , and when I flex my pc muscle I feels like I still have sensation in the glans.

So far, I kinda feel like pinching myself. It seems like I'm getting the better case scenarios in a lot of things, knock on wood.Due to the swelling there's not a lot sticking out, visibly right now, but I know where the puibic bone is and I think ive got something usable to start out with.

as a Side Note, did anyone else get freaked out by the bruised needle holes in the glans? If the pic is too much let me know and I'll remove it

It sounds like you are doing well and I wish you all the best with your recovery.
I'm only 8 days post op, so much on the same path as you. I can compare a few points if it helps.

Same. I found that a bit disconcerting to look at but had been expecting it, so didn't freak me out too much.

My swelling has been gradually going down since around Day 4, I think. It's now getting close to normal, well the new normal anyway, whatever that may be. Swelling discomfort has now been replaced with discomfort from the pump sitting near the base of my ball sac on the RHS.
That's where I agreed to have it placed. I can feel it in there and if I lift the scrotum it's more comfortable. I'm hoping all that will improve over time.

Mostly I've taken nothing either, and no strong painkillers at all. I've only started taking paracetamol the last couple of days due to the pump in scrotum discomfort.

Sort of. I get some minor spraying now and then but mostly I can pee straight. Helps if I squat a little.

Yes I also still have sensation in the glans. Strangely, occasionally it also feels like I'm getting a natural erection, which I haven't had for over 3 years.

Same. I'm only 20% inflated but quite erect with about 4 inches showing. Looks good but it's so uncomfortable being like that 24x7.

A little, but I vaguely remembered being told that they had put a drain or something in there. They put a small steri strip over mine. I was told to have a shower and remove the penoscrotal dressings the day after I went home from hospital, so I took the steri strip off as well. Needle hole completely healed after couple of days.

And it's Saturday Morning, with my favorite cartoon ball sack sitting prominently out front. The swelling is still there pretty much, but the sensitivity has lessened to the point where I can get up and down with very little shouting. Simply put, after 45 years of age- you will have more days behind you than in front of you.(for most)
A friend of mine I grew up with died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age 58.
We most certainly have an expiration date on our own personal milk bottle and as many in here can attest, time goes flying by the older that you get.

I remember hitting 30.....blinking my eyes twice and then turning 40.
