Thank you Frank, that's good to know.

My penis was always downwards. No idea why you’re leaving it upwards or why people do it? The implant will reach above your belly button and poke into your chest when sitting upright

Indian Rasputin a 3 piece implant of 21 or so, it's not like a 27 malleable implant, maybe it reached the navel :D , I even when I had a natural cock I felt more comfortable when I had the cock facing upwards

I wish it was that big to reach my chest . My IPP is continuously partly inflated, quite erect although not fully extended, and pretty hard. It is way too uncomfortable in any other position than up unless walking around naked, in the shower and so on. For the same reason it's very difficult to walk around in public unless pointing up and flattened against your abdomen with underwear or using some other method. I think you have a quite large MPP? In which case you're always at, or close to, your erect length but not completely hard unless you bend it into position? I imagine that would be difficult and uncomfortable to have pointing up, and also not necessary?

I am always one inch smaller than erect. When aroused, I gain one inch due to glans engorgement. I think down looks better and is normal looking, but I’m not sure for IPP?

I never kept it upwards, my surgeon told me that‘s not needed. My dick is always pointing to the ground - for almost 10 years.

Wow, that seems a long time bandaged. Mine were taken off less than 24 hours post op (thankfully). Was there some extenuating reason for it?
Yes, the partial inflation for 5 or 6 weeks seems pretty common practice, although I've read accounts on here of much earlier activation.
I'm also hoping to return to a more or less normal flaccid. Happy if I become a shower, which looks possible atm.

The main bandages were actually taken off after two days. Doc had me keep gauze wrapped on it until my 2 week follow up. After that I kept a light gauze wrap on it due to soreness until a follow up at 5 1/2 weeks.
My flaccid made me a shower. Even now when I walk out in just my underwear the look I get from the wife is worth all the shit I went through getting implanted.

Did he leave you partly inflated straight after surgery, until activation? If yes, how difficult was it to point it down during that period of time?
I agree that it will be better pointing down, eventually, once it's activated and I no longer have a 24x7 erection. I can then fully deflate it and only inflate for sex, or for cycling the implant.

Yes that makes sense Old Guy. Some support might be helpful with the soreness. I'm starting to feel happy already, even though I have no idea yet of what I'll achieve I'm starting to see the potential as the swelling goes away.

Yes that's what I thought for an MPP IndianRasputin. It's not because we want to be pointing in the air. Down is definitely better, but for an IPP it is different immediately after surgery. They usually leave you inflated/erect for the first 6 weeks or so. It is currently nearly impossible for me to bend it down and would be extremely painful/uncomfortable. I suspect it could also damage the implant. Once I have the 6 week activation with the surgeon I will then keep it down unless using it.

So 7.5" erect? No one wants to lose size brother but that's still larger than most. It would actually be a massive gain if I got to that (and probably physically impossible) :).

That’s exactly correct! Still an inch less than before though. I am still happy because it gets the job done. I hope your implant will make you happy.

How long did everyone else have to put up with similar

6 weeks. I hated this practice tbh.

what did you do to cope, or at least take your mind off it?

Took pain meds and used a 4 inch wide elastic band that was cut out from a jock strap.

If I let it hang, the fucking thing was swelling with edema near the incision line, so I didn't have an option. I will never agree to a subcoronal incision ever again. This incision should be contraindicated for uncircumcised patients in my opinion.
