I live in NYC so I took an Uber XL home just a few hours after surgery. I’ll remove the urine catheter myself tomorrow and return to Dr Eid’s office in a week or two for removing stitches. They will let me know the day/time.

Post Op Day One:
Tylenol and Advil got me through the rest of the operative day. I took 2 percoset last night to help reduce the discomfort further and managed to doze on and off from Midnight to 3am and again from 3:30am - 6am.

Didn’t take anything, not even motrin or Tylenol from 3am until noon today. I took Advil at noon, not because I’m in pain, but because it is good for reducing inflammation and I’m sure there is a lot of that going on.

So all in all, this has been far easier than expected so far.

As directed, I’m laying flat or laying back in a recliner as much as possible and ice ice ice.

That really sums up my experience as well.
Glad to hear you didn’t really need the hard opioids..Just ice, ice, baby and you’ll activate very soon. It was quite painful to inflate but keep taking hot baths and inflate as much as you can tolerate.

Thanks for this journal. Your journey sound so similar to mine. I’ll be following your healing and out come. We are close in size. You have about 1/2” more girth. Not made the final step just yet. Hope you have a speedy recovery and great outcome.

Post Op Day 2: Another day of bed rest and ice packs.i haven’t needed any additional pain medication at all. Taking one regular Advil tablet every 4-6 hours just because ibuprofen helps reduce inflammation and I’m sure there is some of that happening. But not needing it for pain at all.

The only hassle has been trying to sleep on my back. I’m a side sleeper and being on my side is not comfortable. But that is a minor inconvenience.

Tomorrow I get to remove the urine catheter, unwrap, and get in a hot bath. I’ll have more to report then I’m sure.

Congratulations! Dr Eid is amazing; my recovery experience very much parallels yours. Minimum discomfort and little swelling. I had a black and blue at the site of the incision the size of a nickel. Side sleep was tough the first couple days. Awesome pictures BTW, lol. Soon the nice hot tub and cycling.

Post-Op Day 3: today I got to take out of the urine catheter, unwrap and start cycling. They gave me the choice of coming into their office for catheter removal or doing it myself. I didn’t want to go anywhere and could handle it myself.

I woke at 4am so I just took it out then. I figured that taking it out early was good because if I had difficulty urinating that would become apparent early enough to actually get some help during office hours instead of an emergency room after hours.

It looked better than I expected. Zero bruising and other than the scrotum incision and stitches, not much swelling either. My balls don’t hurt. My penis isn’t sore. I’m amazed. I was told I was left about 20% inflated. Feeling the crinkly cylinders inside my penis is strange but not uncomfortable. And it feels sort of good to bend manipulate my penis after it being in one position snug under all that gauze for the past several days.

Dr Eid’s order is to get in a hot bath on day three. Let everything soften and try to locate the deflate bars. If I can deflate (I could) I was to try to cycle. The pump was VERY hard and shot out of my fingers multiple times (OUCH!!). I’m sure I will get better at it over time. I managed to get a couple pumps in but realized I was causing a bruise so I stopped. That seemed like a reasonable start.

Some of you guys recommended a baby sock over the penis for comfort and that felt good. My regular boxer briefs with my penis pointing up and a jock strap over the top of that (Dr Eid’s suggestion) gave more support.

The instructions were to do at least 2 hot baths a day. So this afternoon I gave it another shot and I managed to inflate until I was VERY rigid. Harder than I have been in years. My scrotum felt pretty beat up. My cock had some ache from being inflated but not terrible. I have NO IDEA what percentage inflated I was. I have no idea how many pumps it took me to get there. The bulb was so hard and my technique was so bad. A lot of tiny pumps. A few big ones. A bunch of ineffective squeezes. LOL

During the preop doppler study and measuring visit with Dr Eid he told me to expect being 17cm long (6.693”) and losing a cm of girth. While no one wants to lose size this seemed like a reasonable trade for a reliable rock hard cock. My preop size was 7” x 6.5” girth. You’ll find pics above.

The result of inflating for the second time ever is 6.75” length! I’m thrilled. When flaccid it seemed like the left cylinder was shorter than the right and stopped short of the glans but when inflated they even out quite a bit and are both in the glans.

All in all I seem to be having a great recovery.
