Malleable to IPP Revision Post Infection.

I don’t have high risk factors: I don’t smoke, am proportionate weight wise, and don’t have diabetes. I do have some high blood pressure.

By any chance, are you on any kind of immunosuppressant, steroids (Prednisone, etc.) for instance? That'll do it.

Also, Hakky sent me a study showing that ketogenic diets (low carb, low sugar) mitigate infection risks.

What about VED use for two months, and then having a Tactra put in? Supposedly, it's superior rigidity, and the VED can add anywhere from 1 - 2 cm. Actually, LastHope would be the one to talk to about this.

I’m on TRT but nothing like that. Perito told me to take a probiotic and said IF I was gonna do this there would be special protocols due to my past infection. He said “about half” of folks in my shoes had chosen the IPP and about half for the MPP. He said those who had gone IPP were “doing well.” He was careful not to push the IPP to his credit - great guy.

thats an interesting review on the stiffness of the ipp versus the rigi10 mpp .
and the pro of the ipp , 1, being able to possibly gain back loss size from ED .and the extra stiffness . [ the tactra is the stiffest, by the way]
BUT ...damn , the surgery AND then it breaking and having to do it AGAIN , yikes .
I'm not sure what i lost in length from the malleable implant , maybe ,1/4 or 1/2 an inch . Plus i think i was longer in my younger age , i did measure back then ,but my horrible long term memory , haha [ a filipina wanted to try a " big one ,but not 8 inch big . if i remember right i was around 7 inches . [and she wanted to see the measerments ;}.....was . now i'm 6 "]
but i lost i inch in girth , that sucks . 3 things about that , id gain a little when in the mood . and the other day i tried a cock ring ,and gained more .
lastly, HA fillers can be had . ka ching $$$ . the cost in asia isnt to much though .
but the ipp surgery and the breakdowns ,makes me give them a hard pass .
i cant do it if there is a likelihood ill have to do again in the near future
IF they ever come up with something like a malleable that could also be pmped up a little more for action AND does not leak out . i would jump on it .
but personally im not risking a extensive surgery with months of recovery time , to gain a little in size , just to have it break again .
and wth is upwith that ? that cant crimp a tube to a fitting with out it leaking shortly after ? Give me a break .

Hi guys, I’m looking for some advice/input from others in the bionic brotherhood.

Has anyone done a malleable to IPP revision after a salvage operation? What were your results?

On 11/28/24 I was implanted with a Titan 22cm. Unfortunately, I developed an infection 4 weeks later. This was devastating to me as a newly divorced healthy 51 year old. There was a salvage operation on 12/6/24 and a malleable Rigicon 20 cm was put in.

Due to the infection and conservative sizing I lost between half an inch and 3/4 inch of length and lost girth as well, which took me from average to, well below average. Sucks.

The malleable works pretty well. It is not as rigid as the IPP but I am having sex with it regularly with my new GF. It’s working pretty well and she’s happy.

I’m now considering whether to have a revision surgery done back to an IPP. Honestly, it’s all consuming on my mental state. I would like to have the length, girth, and rigidity back as I am young enough to have some fun prior to settling down, which is my eventual goal. But, damn I do not want to do this again. This would be my third surgery in )6 months. And what happens if something goes wrong?

Anyone ekse been in this situation or know of someone who had a revision to an IPP?? If anyone has any input/advice for me generally, let me know.

I wouldn't risk an other infection if you're happy with what you have.

How did you knew you had infection? When did it started? Did you tried antibiotics before removal?

If I was roughly 5.5 to 6 inches long and 5" girth after the mpp I dont think there is anyway I would risk another infection and the subsequent misery just to gain an inch. I too due to medical reasons have lost a half inch and that sucks so I do get what you are saying and if I go with a malleable I may lose another half inch which again sucks. But ultimately if every day the thought of your size loss is all consuming only you can decide. If your significant other is fine with it than it falls back more on an ego and pride thing on your side and again I am going through the same thing so I can be a little more bold in my statements since I am facing the same dilema

Thanks for your guys input. Man if I was at 6 or 5.5 I’d be good. I’m at 5 and that’s pressing the ruler some into the fat pad. And I’m only 51 and while I have a girlfriend it’s too soon - way to soon - for it to be super serious. I also want the ability to have a super rigid erection, which the IPP provides. It’s what I think is the better sexual experience that I’m after. And I remember what that IPP provided before I got infected. It was super hard.

But then I think thatI am functional. I probably would not need another surgery for the rest of my life.

I honestly think that had I been presented with the option of a malleable early on and been able to preserve a bit more size I would probably feel differently about it. I hate the fact this shit is always on my mind. It’s really fucking with my overall mental health which is the WORST part of all this.
