He doesn't seem so bad to me. I don't know why he freaked out on some of the seniors on the forum, but beyond that he hasn't said much that sounded unreasonable. That I've read anyways. And I don't have any reason to think he's not a doctor if he says he is.

In the words of the late Rodney King (the George Floyd of my youth) "Can't we all just get along?" :D

To his credit, Dr Levine did recommend the AMS for my penis and my desires and expectations. But I was stubborn. I wanted something that would give me the least complications. Now I have more complications.

It's early since I am only Day 4 post-surgery, but this thing won't bend into place and is uncomfortable pointing it up towards my belly. It twists toward the right at 3:30 position. It also feels hard as a rock, not rubbery like I expected it would. I knew the core was metal, but I expected the outer layer to be softer and the metal coil to be more pliable.

I also had to be catheterized after surgery and then returned to central Illinois. My local ER wouldn't take the catheter out and looked at me like I was from outer space when I explained I had a penile prothesis. I had to have my elderly mother drive me to her brother's house and then take a medical service to Dr Levine's office in downtown Chicago just to get the catheter removed.

I've told everyone this for a varicocele, but I think everyone knows more is going on,

I see Dr .Levine in a month. If he can't bend into place I will have to take a medical leave from work and get a revision to an IPP as soon as possible.

I chose the MPP to make my life less complicated, but it has become more complicated.

hey mark , i assume you had the incision on the upper shaft ? "subcoronal approach "
If so, consider yourself fortunate , because the rods are not bent when implanted . And after your recovery . The malleable will hold the position you choose for sex better .
I had the penoscrotal method, and it was a quick recovery ,but the rods are doubled , over, bent in a U shape until they touch , to install them .so now my malleable will not stand on its own .
i have noticed from other members posts ,with the subcoronal method . the healing time is longer , but it seems worth it in the long term . Hang in there bud .

Yes, sub-coronal. I would have preferred penoscrotal, even if the result wasn't as great cosmetically, because sub-coronal is more risky for ischemia (cutting the dorsal artery) or damage to the neurovascular bundle.

However, I had a fantastic surgeon and I left it up to him. So far I have good sensation and although the glans is very bruised, the color is improving.

Right now I am in the prime period when one worries about infection, so I am worried about that and being able to bend and conceal, but my result was very good (with what I am working with)

Why, I’d be lower’n the nipples on a breeder sow if I didn’t tip my ten-gallon hat in recognition of this-here fine piece of reassuritatin’!
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

well now, when mama went on up to glory, she grabbed my hand n said, “baby, you keep that southern spirit alive, yhear?” and i told her, yes maama, i swar..so you see i only gon let that there ai fix my spellin n grammar, not write like no soulless yankee robot... so here i am, living and writin to please my mama in heaven with a purpose... if it dont tickle yer fancy, that just fine aint no one holdin yer eyeballs hostage. dont like it? dont read it. bless yer heart anyway

yeah i lived in one of the good ol southern hospitality states for about a year .and no one made any attempt to go out of their way to sound back woods yehaaa! .
They had an accent . But no one ever deliberately tried to sound all foghorn-leghorn . But AI is good at it ,right? and yo moma's dying wish was for you to speak like a cartoon character ? haha thats a new one .

"I say, I say now, boy—lemme tell ya somethin’. I spent, I do declare, a whole year down in one o’ them states soaked in sweet tea and Southern hospitality. Real fine folk, real fine. But I tell ya, not a single soul down there was goin’ ‘round hollerin’ like some backwoods, moonshine-sippin’, ‘yeehaw’-screamin’ stereotype, no sir!

They had themselves an accent, sure as biscuits got gravy—but they wasn’t tryna put on no show. None o’ that ‘I do declare!’ every time they opened their mouths—leave that kinda theater to ol’ yours truly, son!

Now this here talk o’ AI, I say AI—gettin’ good at talkin’ like cartoon characters? That’s somethin’ else! Next thing ya know, your mama’s dyin’ wish is for you to start jabberin’ like a Saturday mornin’ chicken, hoo-boy! That’s a new one, I’ll say, I’ll say—a real knee-slapper, if I ever heard one!"

yer mighty welcome brother, shoot, i’m grinnin wider than a possum in a corn crib!

truth be told, that surgical pain was rougher than a cactus saddle on a bare backside, but by thunder, after 6-7 weeks it was worth every gol-durned bit!

well golly ! howdy doody ,"I say, I say now—my recovery, son, was smoother than a gravy sandwich on a Sunday afternoon! Easy? Why, it was easier than teachin’ a chicken to cluck—and that’s sayin’ somethin’!"

Mark,
I managed to post a couple of photos recently. Try this:

1. Click the Attachments tab (below the post text).
2. Click Add Files.
3. * Select your file from its source location and submit as per however your device works.
4. Once you see that the file has uploaded, click on the position in your post where you want the image to appear.
5. Click Place inline. The image displays in the post.
6. Repeat for any further images.

* Note there is a file size limit. I'm not sure what it is, but you'll get an error message if you exceed it.
My largest one was just under 1mb.
If necessary edit the image on your own device to reduce the file size, then resubmit it.
