Things went well, knock on wood. Just got catheter and drain removed, and was able to pee--albeit sideways. My pee hole is gonna need to reboundOther than right after surgery whatever pain I have is controlled with Tylenol, Gabapentin, and ketolorac. Size of implant same as before, but now a Titan and a lot fewer RTEs.
I managed to lose the patient information pack with my hard-earned pump key fob. Coloplast is sending another.
Hey Courage, wishing you the best of luck in your recovery man. Was wondering your take on the salvage MPP and if you don’t mind speaking in a bit more detail about your experience with it / why you feel like it wasn’t a good fit for you? I know you mentioned some problems with penetrative sex?
I ask because I’m weighing out the MPP as an option. I’m in my early thirties so have a long revision horizon in front of me / favor simplicity of the surgery and device, but it’s important to also be weighing out some of the negative experiences I’ve been hearing also!
Once again, wish you the best in your recovery!
