I'm only 5+ months post-op, but good so far ! It would be interesting to see a poll --
"How long do you expect your implant to work before it has to be replaced ?"
"6-8 years"
"8-10 years" (this would be me)
"10-12 years"
"Over 12 years"

It is interesting to know. Maybe see if you can turn this into a poll.
But damn it’s great reaching down and rubbing him all day long. Wife is ecstatic.

You'll probably find most of the guys that have had their implants for 5-10 years +, aren't on here anymore. They're off living their lives just enjoying their implant not thinking about it
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

Similar to Wooody and Chuck I'm a few days away from 5 months with my one and only implant, with no revisions or other showstopper problems.
Yes a structured poll of experience and expectations might be interesting.

I don't understand the point of posting this statistic, it's rather meaningless.
If 10,000 IPPs are implanted per year, over the course of 20 years that's 200,000 implants "out in the wild". If 30% of one year's implants are revisions, that's 3000 revisions annually. Divide that by the 200K in use and you get an annual failure rate of 1.5%.
That's exactly in line with industry stats of 1-2% needing revision annually.
