Tankerman,
1- Take Paul's advice and get your head to a place where you can make a well thought-out and rational decision on
whether to move forward with the Penile Implant.
2- My story is very similar to Daverx, but I am 5+ years removed from my Titan Implant Procedure (December 2007).
All I can say is that the results have been spectacular and I have not only completely recovered my sex life but also
the emotional bond with my wife --- we both feel blessed that my Implant has restored such an important part of our
lives (we were High School Sweethearts).
Hope this is helpful Tankerman.
Best Wishes,
Bob
Thinking about backing out.
Re: Thinking about backing out.
thanks for your help and concern guys.
I am 48 years old have had ED since I was 16, I can get an erection but I can not maintain it, tried pills I dont like the side effects, tried Trimix it has been hit and miss, I think I should get an implant.
Re: Thinking about backing out.
I hope you can work it out with yourself. Hope the phone chats helped. If I wan't enthusiastic enough that was because I didn't want to sound and be like a salesman. Like everything in life, an implant is a gamble. The odds are massively in your favor, but it is no sure thing. Look at the odds and the payoff and if it looks like a good bet. Bet your dick on it.

Re: Thinking about backing out.
I am about eight weeks post op with my AMS LGX and have been using it since week five. My sex life is completely restored and my wife of 35 years is as happy as ever. We are like we were back in our twenties. We have been wearing it out. Waking up and having wonderful sex first thing before we even get out of bed is something that has not happened since before my RP 3 years ago. I knew that this was right for me and fought for it with insurance for seven months before it actually happened. Only you can make the decision for your body. As others have said, if you are on the fence and can't decide you are not ready. You have to have a positive mindset in order to have the best result. I wish you the best with whatever you decide. For me personally it was the absolute best thing I have ever done for myself and my wife.

Hey tankerman,
I was implanted @ 41(bout 8 mos ago) I have lost some sensation mainly at scar tissue at this point my glans plump up and if I'm really excited I will even get a chubby w/o pumping( not usable, but there's moement...lol)
There are risk w/any surgery, I came out a little shorter, but pretty much back to where I was before surgery(now where I was at 19before Ed and scar tissue.)
I would decide before the disease continues. My doc was suprised w/how much scar tissue I actually had.
But now the pain is a memory,my penis now works(beautifully)I am completely happy and best part is I no longer have to play the mental games and have those talks w/my girlfriends or see the look of disappointment on their face when it won't work....and that for me is worth everything.
It may not be the right choice for everyone luckily it was for me.
I wish you the best w/ur decision.
Your friend,Rich.
