can I still get an implant even if I respond well to injections?

Love my implant. Wish I skipped shots.

Ditto for me, my implant is fantastic. Injections also caused me scarring/fibrosis and some bending post implant.

I have a dissenting viewpoint, but it may be worth considering.

If injectables work, I would stick with them. I think anyone who jumps straight to the implant without trying injectables first, is making a mistake. The implant is not akin to a toupee or contact lenses....it's more like a coloscopy bag. it is a device permanently implanted in your body and it's not "nothing". If you're at a time in your life when you are a major casanova, and sex is the main thing in your life...then this could be worth the overhead....but if you only have sex "now and then" or go long stretches of time with no sex (for whatever reason) then you need to weigh the costs and benefits carefully.

I did injections for a several years, and finding a way to inject is definitely an inconvenience (and I'm sure there are women who thought I had a coke habit or "irritable bowel syndrome") ........but: the rest of your existence is not affected.

If you are a fiend......and inject everyday: you will develop a tolerance and scar tissue.....but if you inject a couple of times a week, this progression will likely be quite gradual.

With respect to scar tissue: keep in mind that this pales in comparison to the invasiveness of surgery and the implant.

I respect the opinions of the folks saying jump right to the implant, but I think it should be a measure of last resort.

But there are guys on this forum who've said that although injections still work for them that theyve been able to get implants. How can you explain that?

it is not a law that a man can not get an implant if injections work . it is a personal decision . i did injections 3 or 4 times , and they suck , they do work if you do it just right , but you're still sticking your dick with a needle and yes that is unpleasant at best . Plus That med needs to be refrigerated , and if you go out and want to get busy somewhere else, you need to pack the needle with you .
the whole thing is the desperate last resort, and not a good one .
i threw that stuff n the trash can .
but apparently some guys don't mind all that ,until it too is no longer effective .
Then hopefully the multiple injections didn't cause to much scarring .
which can be a problem when implanting a ipp or mpp.
