can feel reservoir after weight loss

1,000% sure.
One was there immediately after my first implant and the 2nd right next to it after my revision.

And....I've seen them on ultrasound. That is pretty definitive.

I had a inguinal double hernia repaired with mesh. I too have lost a lot of weight. I wonder if my surgeon can put my reservoir under my abdominal muscles? Guess I’ll add that to my list…

well aside from the issue you posted , congratulations on your weight loss ! that takes effort and is good for your overall health .
i always wondered how they put in the reservoir , but not enough to look into it . a kind of ,i dont need t know thing i guess .
i hope it doesn't bother you, or protrude too much .

i can't feel mine at all, and i have virtually no fat on me. Just a shit load of muscle lol

18 years previous to my implant I had double hernia with mesh installed. My implant surgeon ( 3-1/2 years ago)said he would not go thru the mesh for fear of herniation. So my reservoir was placed just under the muscle layer outside my mesh. At the point of implant I weighed 225 pounds and you could just barely see where the reservoir was. Within 1 year I was down to 185 and the whole reservoir is visible! This is the only thing I don’t like about my implant. Looks like half a lemon sized bump sticking out just below my pants line. Bathing suit covers it fine and my wife and occasionally a Dr is all that sees me naked so not a major problem but I still don’t like it. Have considered having a face to face meeting with Dr Clavell in Houston to see if he could replace it inside my abdomen. I would guess he would probably do a total revision in the process if he did the reservoir.
