Stay off of dr google.

Your first post describes a dog ear nearly perfectly. In my opinion a rupture wouldn't match your first description. Dog ears are common & not generally an issue. But I will concede that dog ears are not very common in LGX's.

For real peace of mind. Spend the copay & consult your original IPP dr.

I don't care for the dog ears myself, so I keep my LGX implant slightly inflated (2-3 squeezes) 24/7. My surgeon is perfectly OK with that. Bulge was an issue for me from day one, even fully deflated, so I wear a jockstrap. The Golberg jockstraps are quite comfortable IMO, so much so I don't want to go back to briefs.

Do you get dog ears if you don’t inflate your lgx implant?

I’ve never had dogs ears and I’ve had this implant for almost 5 years. Just a bit worried that it isn’t actually a dog ear and is something worse.

It’s just that the left cylinder feels different to the right one now. And it always felt the same before. It feels like a small bump on the side of the cylinder.

Recently started getting a bit of pain where that cylinder has the bump while deflated it kind of sticks out.

Could it just be a dog ear or should I be more worried?

I have been to my doctor and he has referred me back to the hospital where I had the surgery done but now I just have to wait.

Still sounds like a dog ear to me. Your penis probably grew some fibrous tissue around the implant in a way that squeezed it into this dog ear shape
