Re: 1 Week Post Op
Thank you everyone for your feedback - it has all been greatly appreciated. Coming up on 2 weeks post op now and things are improving. Been taking it easy and allowing my body to heal. I have a 6 week follow up where I’ll be coached on how to start cycling etc. the sense of relief that the surgery is over has finally surpassed my “what have I done” feelings, lol. Thank you again for your responses.

You need to just relax
I am almost 10 weeks out. I think once the drains come out you will recover very quickly. I was walking and getting about with minimal pain. My doc allowed cycling by two weeks and sexual activity by three. The size thing is an issue. I too am somewhat disappointed but I think I might already be seeing some size increase finally. You have to wait for the swelling to go down and the penis to kind of loosen from the base as it heals. I lost sensitivity but it seems to be coming back.
As everyone here says - healing takes time. I try to focus on the fact that before the implant I had TOTAL ED. No sex life at all for FOUR YEARS. Even shots did not work. So while the implant might has some issues and concerns I am at least in the game. It is not perfect and not where I want to be (an perhaps I was hoping to be) but I now have a penis that can get erect and I don't have to worry about failure.
Good luck.
