It cures the disease AND it repairs also your self-confidence; you loose the anxiety not being able to perform regardless when, how long and whom you want to have sex with.
I had always a dream: to have spontaneous sex out of the blue with a chick I meet somewhere. Sometimes it happened and then I was not able to maintain an erection and got frustrated to the point, that later-on I've avoided such situations. Since I have the implant I always look in the girl's eyes to catch her attention to want to have sex with confidence and show her, "I'm ready for action" :D
With the implant my dream became reality!

Life is too short, so each day, you have no sex, is a lost day :!:

I agree with Dan 200%.
The most important things in this world for us are:
#1) Get an implant ASAP, and
#2) Keep fucking young pussies 24/7.
Life is too short, brothers. The time to get an implant is NOW, not next week, not next month, and certainly not next year!

Thanks everyone.

I fall in the category of being single and planning to travel. I do not intend to jump from woman to woman. But I do intend to get married and the idea of managing injections if one assumes eventually (God willing I live long enough) they would stop working anyway...

I'm just delaying the inevitable if I were to go the injectables route. The only down side is if I 'jump the gun' and some miracle ED solution arrives soon, which I don't think is likely at all.

With the wisdom of hindsight I wish I had never gone the injection route. They worked OK briefly but then didn't work at all, and built up a disproportionate amount of fibrosis in a very short period. That led to some post implant PD that I'm still dealing with. Many guys have success with injections but I wish I'd never heard of them and gone for an implant much sooner. Injections are also very inconvenient and destroy any spontaneity in my experience. Probably more so if you're single. I'm sure there will be future advances in medical technology but don't think a miracle ED cure is close. That's my 2 cents worth but you should weigh it up using your own priorities. Best wishes however you decide.

Once pills stop working, I’d go straight to implant. If you’re using injections, you’re well on your way to an implant anyway as the injections—like pills—become less effective over time. Moreover, the pricking of your corpora will eventually cause scarring (fibrosis), which becomes an additional obstacle during the implantation procedure.
42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

People who have exhausted other options when PDE5 inhibitors do not work or have extreme side effects... (Meaning skipping injections mainly)

But I've also seen a lot of people say "I should have done the implant sooner".

I have not exhausted other options yet but don't want to be burdened by injections, especially with my travel plans in retirement and the risk of PD (apparently).

So I guess I'm looking to hear from people their thoughts... Has anyone truly regretted 'jumping' right to an implant?

(I'm speaking from the perspective that I would see one of the very top surgeons so the best implant outcome is highly likely)

I'd greatly appreciate any insight. Thanks!

On the topic of exhausting options, what is not talked much on this platform is that Malleable is simpler implant with less chances of infection/complication. Given what I went through recently I would have chosen Malleable first that ended up w Malleable after 2 infections/hospital visit.

Inflatable is apparently ultimate, If it works and if you get to use it soon enough and for long enough.
My malleable feels very promising. Hopefully I will have field report in a couple of weeks.

Learnmore:
Sorry for anyone that has 3 of these surgeries back to back.
I have to question why you have been prone to infections. Are you doing anything risky like sleeping with pets or not using antibacterial soap?
Does your surgeon have a higher than usual infection rate?
Your scenario seems very suspicious.
Again sorry you are enduring such an awful experience.

Nestor: learnmore’s experience is not the norm.

Agreed. However long term infection is now my biggest concern. From a niceguy1 post:

"There was a study conducted where they cultured broken implants during revision surgery and found that 50% of the devices that were removed had detectable bacteria living on them."

What the average person likely doesn't realize is that this is probably driving general systemic inflammation. That's a bit worrisome.
