Ok, that makes sense with the scarring.
After 3 months, I wonder if I will have scarring. I don't think atrophy applies to me since I have been indulging myself with self luv and a 3" dick that cannot get hard, but I am not a medical doctor, lol.

Scaring both internal and external in every surgery. In fact, the external part of a superficial scar is healed in 10-12 days, but the internal part of that same scar needs about 2 years to heal completely. And in the interior of the body, after a surgery, there is always internal scarring. For example, in the case of a penile implant, there will be the following internal scars:

The tunica albuginea. It has suffered a great trauma during surgery, and it need to generate an scar to heal.
The tissues surrounding the pump, the tubes, and the reservoir.

All those tissues will need to heal, and healing is by means of scarring. Those scars will need about 2 years to heal completely.

Under normal circumstances, numbness may last in any of those scars from several days to the complete heal of them, so it is possible (though not frequent)to last 2 years. The internal part of a superficial scar (i.e. the knife entry), can last for many many years, even forever.

One more thing: scar is not the same than attrophy. A scar can carry to atrophy, but there are times that it is only the healing process.

He had two different implants. One IPP (penile implant) and the other was an artificial urinary sphincter. Yes there will be a second pump for the artificial sphincter from what I understand about the AMS 800. As I understand it, the sphincter implant is pumped up all the time except when the person needs to void their bladder at which time the pump is deflated, releasing the pressure from the urethra to allow urine to flow. When done and no more urine flows, pump it back up to once again close the urethra.
