My Experience so far with my Titan OTR

As you probably remember, I have the LGX. However, the week after my surgery I was at work with an ice bag down the front of my pants. Another guy walked in as I was replacing it, explaining I'd just had surgery. He asked "cancer?" I said no, I had an implant. His response "welcome to the club!"

It turns out he had testicular cancer, then some other issues and ended up with an implant a few years ago. He wasn't sure which he had, but by his description of the pump and the implant itself, I guessed he had a Titan. I was telling him about the issue I had deflating, and he told me to hang in there, it would be ok. He then proceeded to tell me he did have self inflation now and then. He said he could always tell when he had to have a b m, his dick would start to grow! We both laughed because I was having the same problem while straining during a b m. So, this doesn't appear to be a Titan or LGX problem, its a problem with a 3 piece in general because the reservoir is in the lower abdominal cavity where a full bladder or colon can apply pressure.

Sometimes, I can discretely squeeze myself and it well deflate. Most of the time, it requires some privacy where I can reach in and push the button to deflate it.

Thanks. It is not an issue for me, I just did not know if it was my imagination or not. I try and avoid pressure around the sac, because once in a while I will pinch something (I think) and I get a really bad sting. Not too often though.

I had trouble really deflating at first, but now I can deflate in seconds. This board is what has literally kept me calm through every "problem" I had. I would tell myself that others would think "things" are a serious problem but given time, everyone seems to be happy and the “problem” works out. So I would be patient because of comments in this forum.

I am almost 100% satisfied with my implant and only wish I had not waited so long. The only reason I did wait was the clinic I went to talked me out of it because they did not have a good doctor for performing the operation back then, but they quoted other reasons.

This board IMO should be a must for every person considering and having an implant. It can keep you calm even when things look really horrible. At one point I remember thinking my doctor made a major mistake and I really thought I would have to have surgery again. But then I remember seeing that comment by several men on this board that had the implant so I just calmed down and said be patient and yes… even though I was 100% sure it was an issue, it was not an issue at all.

You can see swelling in my previous posting above, but that is almost gone now and I think things are looking really good. Just a few more days and I can use it (although I can of did the other day... my sex drive is back like crazy after being absent for years). I do have another follow-up on the 13th.

Hi, again, everyone. Had my Titan surgery on May 20. Most of the swelling seems to have gone, but still some. Not much pain now, other than general heaviness and some at bottom of scrotal sack where pump bulb (I think) seems to rub, depending on my position.

Went back to work last Wed. (teacher, 8th grade). That's been fine, too. Have my first post-op with surgeon on June 14. He's pretty 'modern,' so was in contact with questions and pictures via email almost daily, first week. Often got back within 20 mins.!

Question: I guess still some swelling, as I can't quite get my fingers fully around the pump. I think I'm feeling the pump bulb and 1 side of the release valve, but not sure. Do any of you know the physical dimensions of the Coloplast pump and release parts? Knowing so might help me figure out what I'm feeling.

Lastly, I plan to travel to the US (from Canada) at the end of the month via airline. Any problem going through security (I have a new implant card)?
