Re: Pumping question-Somebody help please!
I talked to the DR and he said my pump should be getting hard. So its back to the doctor I go when I get off this Oil Rig. I sure hope I don't have to get cut on again!

Re: Pumping question-Somebody help please!
I guess you found that shifting the pump position didn't help this problem. My LGX does the same thing once in a while and moving the whole pump a bit fixes it up right away. Let us know what the doc says if you go back to him/her. It might shed some light for those of who also find the same thing.

AND 700 CX
I was able to pump up but know I am having trouble finding the deflate button.
Question: is the deflate button ussually facing away from you or is it facing you?
I am think that the only time I had done it it was facing me.
Thank you

When the nurse showed me how to do it, he did it from my left but I am right handed and is is a fact that I have more force on my right than my left.
I feel like the pump can be move to the othe side but I am not certain of this. It would make sense if one could use it from either side.
Please let me know if one of the AMX 700 recipients knows or has any suggestions, it really hurt when the nurse tried to pump.
Thank you

I was able to pump but not deflate.
My questions are:
1) Is the deflate bottom always facing away from you or facing you?
2) I called my doctor and the nurse that does the training is not in today, is there an issue if I stayed pumped overnight and continue tomorrow trying to deflate? I know before the implant there was a chance of priapism, is this is still the case?
Thank you for all your help.

I have moved it all around. I have pumped standing , sitting, lying on my back, side, the shower and every other position I can try. I get a great stiff erection but the bulb doesn't get hard and I can't feel the burn in the tips that tells you it's expanding and I should be feeling that at 5 weeks shouldn't I. I have had a maverlous recovery with none of the problem I read on here. I can pump with one hand, I can find the deflate button with no problems, I am seeing progress in length and girth already at 5 weeks. Everything has been going great and now this pump acts up! I guess I should be grateful that I have a fully functional rock hard staight Alabama Sledge hammer now but I am just worried that the 3 weeks it's going to take to go to the DR that I am not maxing out my potential since I can pump up to the max. I wanted to go home and Really surprise my beautiful wife.

If you get a great stiff erection that doesn't disappear as you say then you will be able to REALLY surprise your wife because I'm assuming that 6 weeks ago you had nothing or you wouldn't have had an implant. Three weeks is not a long time in the healing process. Guys are reporting that the process of growth is slow and can takes 6 months to over a year after surgery. Be calm.. While you may think you are fully healed you are not. I am 6 months out as of yesterday and there are still changes due to healing that I notice. If you can have intercourse at this early stage you are way ahead of most other guys here and the extra 3 weeks to see the doc won't make a difference in your eventual length. I didn't start cycling until week 8 or 9 and intercourse didn't happen until 3 months had passed. Enjoy. You are okay. The pump problem will get solved.

Dr. Cornell said on his radio show, it depends on if you are right handed or left handed as to the placement. I had a discussion with him about it, right side versus left side, he gave me a surgery reason it is placed the way he placed mine.
My pump is easiest for me to use with the right hand. BTW If you have watched the AMS animated video, they pump up with the fingertips, mine are not that strong. I curl my index finger and put it under the pump using the side of the bent knuckle giving me a hard surface. Then I use my thumb to press down. In the beginning I occasionally used my left hand fingers to grip under my right hand fingers to help pump.
However I use my left hand to push the deflate button, Dr. Cornell said that is the way he put it in. Now 12 weeks post surgery I can pump up with either hand, it is easier with my right and always easier to deflate with my left. While delating I use my right had to grip the shaft and squeeze to help return the the fluid to the reservoir.
After a while I could hear the button will make a pop when pumped up and will make a similar sound when you deflate. Since I pump with my right hand the pump is softer than when I use my left hand, the pump is actually harder, i.e., have made the rubber get use to bending under my right hand.
I do think you can re-position the pump.

Roninhouston:
Did they gave you the keychain pump?
How close to reality is the keychain to the actual pump?
I have been trying to find the deflate button based on the keychain button, but I am just touching the square edges without finding the button.
Hard to find.

AMS 700 CX
I was able to deflate at 1:30 PM last night and keeps my finger in the trigger just so I would not forget how it feels.
I pumped today at 11:30 AM and I was able to deflate somewhat, so I am not even close to manage it. I should have felt around last night and memorize the soroundings.
I don't think I am doing the correct way because I do not hear anything and do not feel the vibration.
I also do not understand why AMS does not have better tutorials,it appears as if deflating is the problem most of us have. I have searched for hours and the examples or tutorials for patients is not good.
There is an illustration on how to deflate and the drawing has a hand holding the tubes with one hand, I do not know about you guys but my tubes are not that long to be holding them that way, I can touch them and keep them in place by putting my fingers on them but not to hold them.
In the videos I have seen there is real person deflating but the finger positions are cover by the rest of the hand.
With the money they make selling each unit, they could make better instructions.
Thank you
