I have a CX and mine gets longer when aroused. You still get blood flow down there and your head expands.

Well, not everyone. No residual blood flow here. If you just pump up your implant without arousal does it get longer? I know the CX is supposed to increase in girth but any length increase?

A couple of hours till boarding the New York flight. Quite nervous (not for the flight) but I have decided this is the way to go. Meeting Eid on monday and surgery is on tuesday.

You nailed my worry there as well. What if the injection erection is not same as my best aroused Viagra erection?
On the other hand, I can see this from the doctors' point of view. They need facts. Measurable hard cold facts. If they were to implant patients based on their stories about size, there would be plenty of implants buckling and eroding out through the tip...
I just hope that injection will give me an erection as good as they come.

The injection is to give you and the doctor a size to base the reality of post op size on since guys sometimes over estimate size in their memory. He will still measure in surgery by using dilators or similar measuring devices inside the corpora of the penis. If the injection for some unlikely reason underestimates the true length he will put in longer cylinders. Worst case scenario you wake up with a longer implant than you thought going in. He has been doing this for a while and will give you the max possible irregardless of the show and tell injection. Still all your thoughts and questions suggest an intelligent and reaasonable mind. Arrived, went to the pharmacy and got all the medicines.
Checked in at the Bentley hotel (recommended by Eid's clinic).
Pretty shabby. Got a room on second floor without window (!!!).
Said there's no way I'm staying 11 days in a room without window.
Got upgraded to a suite which is small for a suite, and nothing fancy but absolutely good enough.

Have been sleeping like shit for a couple of weeks, and an 11 hours time difference jetlag is probably not going to make it any better.
Not really sure exactly why I sleep bad. Decision is taken. Sure, I'm a bit nervous of course, but I normally don't let things get to me to the point where it affects my sleep.

Best of luck to you! I am sure Eid will do his best for you! If you could share what your costs for such things as hotel, fares, you said meds, I would appreciate it. Pockie gave some very helpful info in that respect. His costs were much less than Eids secretary had told me last year and everything was within walking distance. There is still a chance Feb 24th @ Vanderbilt with Milam is going to fall apart. Insurance still refuses to give a letter or predetermination. Eid said he would do it with no issues but there is a lot of out of pocket expenses I don't have @ Vandebilt. I found out today the Dr. Karpman will do it for $19,000 and California has nice weather. One way or another I do not intend to allow you great guys to stay ahead of me for long.
