AMS LGX - how hard is it to pump the bulb??

Getting past that initial "pop" is the difficult part, but the pumps after that are much easier.

I frequently hear and feel the pop and the next couple squeezes go softer but then it hardens up again. Still not sure if things are working correctly. Have my follow up appt in two days and will sure be glad to see what they think. Hard to believe it's THAT hard! I just hope nothing is wrong....ouch.

That sounds familiar. Similar situation here, although I may be able to manage a few more squeezes with one hand. After that I go to my two handed technique and get in a bunch more. I guess it depends on how big the cylinder are and how much saline is still in the cylinders. If you are not fully deflated, it doesn't take much pumping to get back the erection.

So I am now 7 weeks post-op and have been pumping up every day for almost 3 weeks. My first observation is that HOLY COW I GOT SMALLER I used to measure about 7-1/4", now it's about 5-1/2 fully pumped. At first it was painful to go full, now it is only somewhat uncomfortable. My girth is less than it was naturally but still plenty for good stimulation and for the wife too. Length is now the challenge. We've found a couple positions that work OK but we're definitely more limited than when I had normal erections. Guess we just have to experiment with what works now. Will also help for me to lose weight and I'm working on that. I am certainly hoping that as I continue to use the implant the length will come back - at least some. I know it's a guy thing about size and my wife says not to worry about it, we'll experiment to find out the best ways to have intercourse now, but still, it's an ego deflater for sure. I just hope that the doc put a big enough one in that it will continue to stretch me over time.

As for pumping the bulb, way easier now. The strange thing is that I read a lot on here about how many pumps it takes to get to full. Mine only takes about 10 full pumps and that's it, it gets rock hard and will not pump any more - so I am assuming that the implant is full, right? Some guys talk about 15-20-25-30 pumps.

I will say that the one plus to the implant has been that deflated, it keeps me larger than I used to be for a long time I kinda like that. Walking around a locker room gives me some confidence back that I'd lost!

Mine is still hard to pump after 11 months of cycling but its doable
It sometimes slips to one side very quickly an i hurt myself
But wouldnt be without it - Its changed my life
Dont even think about it now
Before I had it done it preyed on my mind with a combination of ED and peyrones if I did get an erection
This implant has straightened my bend and gives me good erections

It's a learning process. As already said, the material is stiff and has a break-in period as it softens with use. Also, positioning is important (some pumps are more picky than others). You have to find the best pump position, tubing angle, etc... for your particular rig. I've had 10 implants and no two were alike, but ALL of them were difficult at first, and then stupid easy after a few months. Take your time, find YOUR best routine, and practice, practice, practice...

I was told to do light cycling of mine starting today as an exercise procedure while I work on finding another doc or go back to Milam. ( no chance ).

I am 8 weeks post-op with the CX and that is my experience as well. 6 - 10 pumps is fully inflated and the bulb is rock hard. The only time I feel the pop is if I start out fully deflated and do the initial pump abruptly with enough force. Either way it inflates fine in under 10 pumps. I assume it has something to do with the amount of saline solution that they put into the system.
