I MADE IT!
I AM BIONIC!
I am home very little pain to speak of.
Surgery took less than 1 hour. Everyone was super polite and understanding
Kind of weird having this boner packed in ice. Haven't had really good wood for several years.
Just need to wait 4 to 6 weeks to use it. I'll just have to force myself to wait it out. Mother will make sure
I wait! Like I have said before "If mother ain't happy ain't no one happy"!
I will update after 24 hrs. tomorrow. Vicodin might be needed later. I went in at 6:30 am and was on my way home
from recovery by 11:00. They made me pee before I could leave without a catheter. Four cups of coffee solved that issue.
The nurse said I may want to get a jockstrap for support. I think she knew what she was taking about and I am going to take her advice!
Thank you all for your support. I mean that sincerely!

Re: About to join the BIONIC world
It's been 24 hours. Pain is really minimal. Actually more like uncomfortable would better
explain it. Ice is a big help.
Little bruising but not ungodly!
I must admit having hard wood 24/7 does feel different!
I did sleep all night with no problems!
Updates later to follow.

Greg is right, you do need to get a lot of rest! Not for what you've been through but you need to rest up for what's ahead, after you heal.

I agree with the others. Rest up! I found and have heard others say that the 4th and 5th day are probably the worst days. Some say to ice, but I used white cotton towels (buy them in bundles at Costco). They're the size of washcloths. Kept them wet with cold water and then wrung out. They wrapped nicely around both my scrotum and penis and really helped keep the swelling to a minimum. Don't be shy about using your pills during the first week as there will be a time or two when it might just be necessary. Take care and keep reporting back. We're all anxious to hear everything.

Well it has been over 24 hours. I have been following your advice completely!
I at my lake property and on vacation for the next 10 days. I am mastering the art of doing nothing!
I am really very good at it.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate my pain at a 1 or 2. My tenderness at a 2/3, specially the head or glans.
Swelling is not to bad. Of course Vicodine really helps that pain & tenderness out.
I think LGX_Man is absolutely correct days 4, 5 & 6 may be the worst.
Thank you for your concern and advice. I really appreciate it very much.
I will keep everyone up to date as I progress.
Please enjoy your holiday week-end!

It has been over 48 hours!
Pain level is actually less than 1. The head is really sensitive to the touch but no real pain.
I can actually bed it today and pointed it down a little that helps when peeing!
Bruising is not to bad at all. My penis is still swollen a bit! Good be worse!
Warm showers feel real good. Setting in the tub even better.
Let you know more tomorrow!

Re: About to join the BIONIC world
Day three!
The dressing came off today in the shower! Stitches look really nasty!
Swelling and bruising are getting better.
Can not wear loose underwear, the head is just to sensitive to the touch .
Mother got a real good look inspecting the incision site. She said it looked good.
I guess that is a good sign since she hasn't seen it hard in years.
Back to setting around doing nothing. I am really good at that.
