You can't believe everything you read in the news. If anything thanks to forums like this I would think that implants are up. All the surgeons I spoke to before choosing Dr. Kramer where very busy. I'd never heard of implant a few years ago and without this forum I don't think that I would have had the surgery.

Since the only way I could get an erection was with a VED, which I hated, I would just have accepted that my sex life was over and moved on.

I know that a lot of insurance company's won't pay including mine I was a tough decision for me but I felt to young to give up and was supposed to be a straight forward surgery and ended up a lot more complicated so now I'm xczred as hell to see the bill i'm just a working guy had I known I probably would have not went through with it I hate to put the family in a bind just have to see how it all comes out Jim

Same here, just a working guy. It put me in a bind to pay $20,000 for my implant about 5 years ago, and now that it has stopped working I am looking at having to pay $20,000 once again (for a revision). Anyway, I hope yours lasts longer than mine did....

Frequently the urologist's office will contact your insurance company on your behalf to make the case that if they cover breast reconstruction, then they should cover penile implants. (And mine originally said that they would cover it because it was the result of a physical condition; if it had been a mental condition, they would not have covered it.)

Does it cover breast implants following a mastectomy? Like with E.D., the results of having your breasts removed do nothing to keep you alive; they just make your life more difficult.
