I'm not hiding his name I'm just not sure he would or I would be comfortable putting his name on the internet just as we all have our names concealed on this site its mostly to protect our identity from the public

If he's good like Kramer and Eid, he would love the publicity. This is how I located my surgeon. They have their own websites, etc. Yours probably wouldn't mind, but it's your business, not ours.
62 years old. ED for years. High BP and meds have done me in. AMS 700 CX /3.0 cm RTE Implanted by Andrew Kramer on 10/12/16. Involved revision to relocate tubes and pump performed 12/29/16 by Dr. Knoll of Nashville, TN.

You're right, the local guy may be good and not want publicity. Everyone has different goals. I was glad though for this site and the personal recommendations to stear me in the right direction because I was a bit nervous about my local uro. I like him, but he immediately told me I'd lose and inch and I didn't like that so I looked elsewhere.

well guys now that hopefully we are past all that nonsense we can get back to day 6 I think the first thing I will say if your taking pain meds take a stool softener ask your doc how much you can take I did but followed the directions and that's not enough I haven't taken a pain pill in two days and still have a little constipation i'm sure the doc would allow more than whats on the label or something better than what I had... he gave me 30 pain pills still have 18 left so I was pretty moderate about taking them and still had issues my helpful hint of the day lol...I don't have much pain but just the annoying dull stuff still some swelling not to bad I can get in and out of bed fairly good and in and out of chairs been walking a little just to get out of the house really haven't found the perfect underwear yet lol but all and healing up pretty good the stiches around the head are driving me insane they get caught on my undies and rub when I walk ill be glad when there gone other than that pump rubs a little still getting used to that hopefully will have a good visit on the 27th for my post
thanks guys

It's very important to stay not constipated. You don't want to strain the surgical incision by pushing too hard. I've struggled with constipation all my life so I have a lot of experience with a lot of methods. Stool softeners hardly ever did me any good. My best solutions, which I use daily, are Miralax which basically increases the body's ability to hold water in the stool and eases BMs. The other is quite effective and probably better for the short term and that is Milk of Magnesia. One full capful of that and a glass of water and within about 6 hours you'll be just fine. 1/2 cap is actually probably enough. These two things have worked better for me than any laxative or stool softener ever did. I have a family tendency toward constipation and this has been helpful to all of us. Good luck. Your doctor would probably prescribe more pain pills if you need them.

Re: journey of a rdnkbiker
Had my first post op visit yesterday wow where to start....Well I always have thought and my doc agreed my high blood pressure over all the years and all the different meds had been the cause of my ED but not the case the doc said my scare tissue in the corpora cavernosa was so full clear into the glands that it would have been impossible to get enough blood to create a erection...we talked about what might have caused it but no real outcome so many things could have caused it trauma to the penis at some point in life was probable but nothing definite..........he told me it was the most difficult surgery he has ever done he's been a URO 25years and his partner who assisted 17years a URO a lot of years between the two he told me at one point during the surgery they thought they would have to close up and have a second surgery I am so thankful they decided to continue on and finish in one surgery....on a good note all the sutures around the glands have healed and will fall out in time he also started inflating the implant up and wants me to continue daily just a few pumps to start and work my way up over the next 5 weeks....all I can say is guys at the first sign of ED trouble go find a doc you can trust and get checked out I have put mine off for years to embarrassed to talk about it plays a lot of head games you don't feel like a man anymore whatever your thought are but in my case had I went years ago I would have saved myself a lot of the problems
thanks again
