My surgery went smooth this morning. I am back in my room at the Hampton Inn. I didn't take any pain meds. I am sore, but not enough that I need more than Tylenol. I took 2 about an hour ago. Dr. Kramer is on his way to London to visit with Dr. David Ralph so I will be taking my catheter out myself in the morning. The catheter is really the most uncomfortable part right now. I can't wait to get it out of me at 8:00 in the morning. If I remember right, I got 18CM tubes with 2 CM extensions for a total of 20 CM. I sleep on my stomach normally so this will be a restless night

I forgot to mention that Dr. Kramer took a video of my procedure. He said it would be up in a few days. He is going to work on it on the plane to England.

If you have two beds in the room, you might consider putting them toheter with a couple of inches gap between them. Then sleep perpendicular to the direction of the gap (you would not want the gap to open up and let you fall through - ouch).

I don't know if that would be comfortable, but it would allow you to sleep on your stomach with your wounded area not compressed.

Of course, since there is a 4 hour time zone difference, you are probably already abed, but tomorrow, you could try this. Be careful, I am known for hare-brained ideas.

Glad it went well. Last night at 20 days was the first night I could sleep on my stomach. It was nice. Cheers man . Heal well.

I took the catheter out this morning no issues there. peed a little bloody urine haven't voided again since but should be OK. Scrotum is Black and Blue, but little swelling so far. I left the little mummy bandage on and went back to my underwear with a pad.

Staying in bed and off my feet so far so good

they are jack hammering the street below my window. I could've done without that lol

When you took off the mummy, how did you support it to keep it straight ?

I supported mine then and have often since with the athletic supporter they sent me home from hospital with. It was actually a very nice one and comfortable. Not a worthless g string stuffed with a huge wad of gauze like vanderbilt used. Often I pulled the waist below my ball sack. That gave support and took the strain off the shaft.
Sorry about the noise. We had fire trucks and ambulances all the time from the station house across the street from Holiday Inn. At least they did provide packages of earplugs in the room. Cheers.d

The latest... At about 11:00 I was able to pee, and have dome so several times so that is behind me. I unwrapped this afternoon and realized that I have a lot of swelling in my scrotum. I just finished with 20 minutes of Ice pack. I can see why some guys get concerned early about length. I guess i'm about 20 % pumped. I am amazed at how stiff it is. The cylinders are 3/4 up in my glans. It feels like Dr. Kramer sized me just right. I re-rapped the mummy and I'm back lying down. Thank goodness the NCAA is on tonight.
As for the length I take comfort in Pascal's law. A fluid under pressure acts equally in all directions and at 90 degrees to the surface of contact. It can't get longer without pressure on the girth, and my girth has a lot of room to pump

Thanks Ali, I got that same Jock that you did. The problem for me is that they really tore me up shaving me and that jock is really rough on that skin.
