Wow fellow Aussies!! Glad to know I'm not alone.
I went to Chris Love and am very happy with my outcome. Venous Leakage led me to Melbourne. 22cm Titan....13 weeks out BD and just love the confidence I have regained.......a very special club to be in.
I posted somewhere else about leaving a party early and having another guy in his 60's accuse me of being a 'softcock'......only you guys would understand how badly I wanted to challenge him to get 'them' out in front of all the women there and see whose was almost 170mm long and standing to attention.....

Day 6 update

It has been so good to be home. Was able to rest much more and finally the swelling started going down considerably. Still in a fair bit of pain, but instead of a diffuse ache all over, this is now localised to a few places. Mark, my pump is adhered to the scrotum just like yours - displacing the left testicle upwards. There is a little dimple visible on the scrotum when pulled, and that little bit of adhesion tissue causes some sharp pain. I wonder if they don't put a little dissolving stitch in there?? He didn't say so. All we Aussie guys seem to end up with adhered pumps! It is right at the bottom of the scrotum, lying somewhat sideways

Otherwise, the incisions on the shaft (and under them, in the tunica) near the glans and the bunched cylinders near the base of the penis are the main sore bits. Occasional jabs from the reservoir area. Still using the narcotic meds particularly for sleep, but at the lower dose.

I got to sleep on my side (I'm a 100% side sleeper) last night and that was so good! Before, I had been flat on my back, a towel wadded under my scrotum, another over my midsection and I propped the duvet up with a pillow at crotch height. Last night I put a pillow between my knees, pushed the scrotum backward and the penis forward, and got quite comfortable. Best sleep since surgery.

I too had bad constipation for days. I tried to clear this after surgery while I was still in Melbourne, with no success. Tried coloxyl (repeated), ducolax (repeated) & microlax without joy. After I got home Saturday, a good swig of lactulose solution cleared things up within an hour. This took a lot of pressure off, internally.

I wish my swelling had been minimal! My scrotum blew up to the size of a baseball, black and blue, as was my shaft. In fact they swelled so much that after it went down, the complete outer layer of skin on both peeled off in sheets like bad sunburn. My best mate is indigenous; I sent him a pic of my sack as a laugh, because my balls were blacker than his

I think I may have also underestimated/underappreciated how far into the glans the tips go.
The tips when inflated are only 1cm from the tip of the penis.
Both of them really know what they are doing.

That sounds much better! Semi-inflated, my tips are about half way into the glans measured at the top side. At the underside the tips are about at the edge of the corona. About 1cm in from the tip. It will be interesting to see how things look on first full inflate.

My cattledog came home yesterday and that was a happy reunion but yes, I did get an accidental excited paw to the nutsack . I think the dog learned a new word, or several.

A note on sensation: Obviously way too soon to say whether it is wholly unchanged, but I can safely say there are zero numb or dead spots anywhere. Started feeling horny yesterday and again this morning. Strange combo with the pain haha - a masochist might actually enjoy it! Not about to play with anything but I am keen to know whether I have any residual glans engorgement. Time will tell.

Yes, it is. I got this from my abusive soul-destroying cheating ex on a daily basis for years until I left. Literally daily, literally years. Good times. I went 5 years celibate after that before I could even consider the risk of dating again. My second partner never said an unkind word, but the frustration couldn't be concealed, and eventually we stopped trying and avoided sex. Little trivial things started regularly pissing each of us off - sex is an important glue in the early stages of a relationship (and later as well, for that matter). This came to an end as it had to, after 18 months but not unkindly and we remain very good friends. Maybe things could even rekindle there down the track, who knows.

I can't believe what a different place my head is in right now to where it has been. Even in the early stages of recovery, I feel like I have taken a (the) definitive step to deal with this once and for all and remove it from my life. I feel like this will be a very, very good year.

Edit: Another thought - peas. I had gel packs but what was best for icing were two 500g (about 1lb) bags of frozen peas, wrapped in a tea towel. You can shape them to conform to your anatomy, and there is enough bulk to use the bag as a support when lying down flat - the bag on the couch, and the scrotum resting on the bag. The peas will be the worse for wear after a few trips through the freezer, so don't save them for the Sunday roast

Day 7 update

Yesterday I started stretching the penis downward as instructed (pull toward feet 2-3 mins, 2-3x/day, massage penis and surgical scar). This gently stretched the suspensor ligament and the corporal incisions just behind it and moved the cylinders around in the corpora a little. Did this first in the bath, makes things a lot more comfortable. Straightened out (temporarily) some kinks in the bioflex, especially one large fold / lump at the base on the right. Odd (but not painful) to feel the material move inside me. Insides of penis were main source of discomfort overnight, I guess they got roughed up a bit by the stretching even though it was very gentle. Woke early in the AM with a burning sensation in the corpora - got up and took a painkiller. Slept right through after that.

There is a lot of crinkled bioflex in there - and I take that to mean there is a lot more growing to do when it gets pumped up fully. Encouraging. In the meanwhile the dog ears / crinkles are mildly irritating. Not intolerable. Pointing upwards is the most comfortable position.

Swelling is well down. Peeling skin has all resolved. Balls are still quite dark but overall looking much better.

The adhesion is pissing me off. It is about 5-6mm in diameter and well stuck to the midline of the pump bulb. This secures the pump slightly higher than the bottom of the scrotum, with the left testicle above it, and when I hang free the weight of the scrotum and contents is taken by this one small adhesion, stretching it painfully. I have to use a jockstrap if I need to walk for long; walking around the house I just cup my balls in one hand and lift them. Most comfortable sitting, with a towel under the nads keeping the weight off the adhesion.

Spoke to the prosthesis nurse and asked if it was OK to get into a hot bath and try to work it free, and got the go ahead for that. Freed some small areas with some little pops and stings, but the main part is firmly stuck and feels like it would require some force to basically tear it free - which I doubt is a good idea. I worked at the edges gently but firmly for half an hour or so. Will keep at it, things will be considerably more comfortable if I can convince it to separate. It will be unfortunate if this takes weeks.

As to the pump generally, I can see where it wants to rest were it not for the adhesion; that position is going to be perfect. Between and behind the balls, low in the scrotum with the bulb angled slightly forward. I can clearly feel the release button (won't be playing with that, or the pump, until cleared by the Dr). It is at a good angle for access, not rotated against a testicle etc. The button faces directly to the rear, with the concave thumbrest on the other side facing forward between my testes. I don't see how he could possibly have placed it any better. I am pulling this down daily, does not require much tugging as the tubing seems to be a good length.

As regards my concerns about the IP approach leaving palpable tubing, I am still swollen obviously but I can't feel tubing anywhere other than in the scrotum as yet.

Going well I'd say.

Day 8 update

Much unchanged, swelling continues to go down a little each day. Adhesion still present - left it alone today as there was a little swelling around the area after my efforts yesterday.

Now an odd thing, lying on the couch before I went to bed last night, and to a lesser extent today, I started getting what I think are spontaneous erections. I was not consciously horny at the time. The shaft currently folds in the middle, and lies on my stomach. I noticed it swelling, and lifting off my stomach, into a semi. This throbbed a couple of times, and then deflated. That then repeated multiple times. The kinks in the cylinders seemed to smooth out at the same time when engorged, so I am not altogether certain whether it is residual blood engorgement or fluid transfer within the cylinder. I think it is blood flow though - thought some dirty thoughts and it swelled a little.

Hope that's what it is, and that I get good secondary engorgement once the implant is in use.

At no time did the glans or spongiosum engorge during this process. Less encouraging, but as expected.

Interesting how everyone's experience is slightly different.
I am about 100 days out. I like to sleep with about half an erection and i often wake up pretty toey which is a very nice feeling after a couple of years with no night erections. The GF loves it btw.
I recall feeling horny post op and on a daily basis it got a bit annoying so I made a false foreskin with non adhesive self stick 1" stretch bandage to stop my now 15 cm flaccid cock rubbing against my undies. So yes having the cylinders partially inflated does make you feel aroused and it's great to feel virile again....Just you wait....any of the small annoying adjustments you have to make are insignificant compared to how confident you will feel and how amazed you will be with your new weapon!
