Many thanks to everyone who has responded and for your kind words of encouragement!
I live in the Ottawa area, but was raised on Expo baseball in SW Ontario!
Blue Monday and the year the Expos (almost ) won the world series, etc.
Although I live in eastern Ontario, I had the surgery done elsewhere.
I don't want to be evasive, and I will discuss that info shortly, I'm not ready to discuss where and by whom (yet). The wounds are still too fresh, to coin a phrase. Wil post on all the particulars of the surgery soon...

Thanks too to those of you who provided feedback on biking and cycling.
Well keep you posted on that, although I suspect that I will be of the bike for a couple of months..

Today is day 4. The pain and swelling are going down, but there still is a lot of sensitivity...
Bowels are starting to move, and will try to keep going in that direction.
Had a few episodes of sweating, light headedness and dry mouth yesterday.
Was concerned that this might be triggering a heart attack.
Have heard that wonderful stat that ED sufferers are 50x more likely to have heart attack.
Today seems better though.

honestly, not much new to report.
My member is still partially inflated, to about 20%???
This does cause some discomfort, but not too bad.
Overall, rather nice to feel some mass and volume in the area!

Hi all,
Well, I've arrived at day 6. Sorry for the delay, today I drove 8 hours, and boy are my balls sore.

Funny, but true. Reminds me of the old Soupy Sales joke, some of you probably know what and who I'm talking about.

Thank goodness for an inflatable cushion, plus several bags of frozen peas! Life saver!
An 8 hour drive was probably too much to undertake, but I had to come home at some point...

My follow-up with my local Ottawa urologist is tomorrow.
Will post more updates and info then.
Many questions for him...
So far I'm surviving, and no major implications.
Feeling much more optimistic today, was thinking about my lovely wife all 8 hours of the drive... she has been so supportive of me for such a long time.
:)

And big thanks to reverend Donnie for the kind words and love for the CX!
I hope that I live mine as much as you do!
Peace, out. More info tomorrow.

Just got back from visit with my local urologist.
In short, so far, so good.
Imperative to keep icing to reduce swelling, and to avoid physical exertion.
He said that the number 1 goal is to avoid infection.
Another followup later this week to follow.
So, not much to report, but also a good news story.
