Interested in our lives, family etc. When we walked back to the examination room he was standing outside. I stuck out my hand and said " nice to meet you Dr. Kramer". He shook my hand and said "call me Andrew".
He went over the surgery with us, and stated almost all of his patients were off pain meds by the 2nd day. We began discussing the 2 manufacturers and types, and he had me drop trousers for an inspection. He was impressed with my girth (which my wife loved to hear, as she is really a "thick" queen!" (I have photos of pumping it last night that I will share).
He asked if I had any preconceived thoughts of which type I would like. I stated no, I will go with your recommendation. He recommended AMS, and I concurred.
He really put me at ease about the surgery, and now I'm going forward with confidence.

Best wishes to you honeyman! It's an exciting time. My wife was with me too which was a blessing. Everyone (hospital staff) couldn't have been nicer. It actually was a pleasant experience. But I confess, I used the pain pills up to yesterday. Didn't really need them today. Godspeed!

Hello guys, from Bionic Land!!
Couldn't have gone smoother! Great surgeon, great team, great hospital. Had a 9:15am arrival time for 11:30am surgery. Couldn't wait! Arrived at 8:35am!!
Was called in about 9:20am, stripped and put gown on, vitals taken, IV inserted. Several different nurses came in asking various questions (guess I gave the right answers, 'cause they went ahead with the surgery!). Anaesthesiologist in asking some questions and telling me about the anesthesia to be used. About 10:15am I noticed I had not been shaved. Asked the nurse when that would happen. She stated "oh, Dr. Kramer does that himself in the operating room He doesn't trust us to do that!!" Suprising to me! Dr. Kramer came in about 11:15am, we went over some last minute details. Some time ago I had inquired of his assistant Connie about his use of stem cells in the incision. Now I asked Dr. Kramer again. He stated that he had discontinued that because he honestly did not see any positive impact of using them.
On to the operating room, where the team was very pleasant and even jovial, but in a very businesslike way Nice atmosphere that will really alleviate your apprehensions and make you feel comfortable. Then it was off to Lala Land, to wake up in recovery about 45 minutes later. Felt great! No negative affects from anesthesia. Not really any pain, just a strong tightness in cock and ball area, and crotch area.
My lovely wife joined me, and shortly Dr. Kramer came in, literally grinning and beaming. Said things went extremely well, and he had implanted a 23cm AMS 700, and that I should not have any complications. Checked out about an hour later, and back at the hotel about 4:30pm, basically feeling like I had received a couple of swift kicks in yet gonads, no more. Relaxing in bed since. All in all, a very nice experience. And my wife and I both can't wipe the smile off our faces anticipating using the 23cm play toy!!
Thank you Bionic Brothers for all your help and well wishes!!

Awesome! Glad it went smooth. Take it easy.

Maxx-
Dr. Kramer said that they were both very good products and that either will do the job very well. He just mentioned the usual drawbacks of the Coloplast, i e the inability to totally deflate and the"crinkling" effect when deflated. He also feels the pump of the AMS is easier to operate.

Hey Guys,
Second day post op
No real pain since surgery. Very uncomfortable Wednesday night. My balls felt like they had been kicked several times, and the tip of my penis was very sensitive to anything it came in contact with. Taking pain meds every 4 hours, and I icing every two hours for at least 20 minutes. When my 2 a.m. pain pill kicked in I was able to sleep well until 6:30. At 9:30 a.m. I realized it was time to take the catheter out. So I took another pain pill plus 2 Tylenol just in case.. I was very apprehensive about taking the catheter out. When my lovely wife deflated the catheter bulb,. The catheter slipped out onto the floor without me even knowing it.. needless worry!!!! About an hour after that catheter removal, I felt the urge to pee. Standing over the toilet I began to Pee in 4 different streams and 4 different directions!!! Since that I have been relegated to peeing in the shower and washing it down.

24 hours after surgery. No pain, just a slight dull ache in my balls, the tip of my penis is somewhat sensitive. No pain or anything where the stitches are, I wouldn't even know I have them. Stained flat and icing, I am wearing long leg cotton briefs with my jockstrap over them for support. Everything felt much better once the bandages were removed and the catheter was out!!!! Looking forward to my shower tomorrow! My wife told me I stunk so I had to wash my head and upper body with a sponge bath!! But it felt nice and she helped me do it. Fortunately we have a kitchenette in our hotel room so that my wife can prepare our meals without going out. Spent a very restful second night without pain medication. Other than Tylenol. Friday morning which was almost 48 hours after surgery, feeling much better, I took my first shower and felt good enough to go downstairs for breakfast. No problems with walking. I don't even need to walk like John Wayne anymore!!!! After breakfast came back up to the room and have laid low all day, just like I am supposed to!! This has been much easier than I ever expected it to be!! The recovery has been no less than miraculous!! We will have our dinner in the room tonight, and at 8 p.m. We will watch our beloved gator baseball team in the College World Series! Go Gators!!
