Good luck.
I had my surgery on July 19, 2017 by Dr Kramer. Piece of cake. No swelling, no bruising, minimal discomfort. Figured out how to inflate and deflate (Coloplast) by myself on day 14. Would have started having sex then but my girlfriend was on her period. Had to wait until day 17. It is everything it is cracked up to be. A whole new world.
Couple things:
1) There is some debate about using a vacuum pump before surgery. Advocates maintain that you maximize length, surgery is easier and recovery is faster. I used the vacuum pump twice a day for 15 or 20 minutes before surgery for about a month at which time there was no longer lengthening of the penis. It may be a coincidence but my surgery was a breeze, recovery was rapid and I was in action two weeks after surgery.
And best of all, I have 22cm plus 2.5cm for a total of 24.5. I was happy with that.
2) I religiously stayed in bed for 3 days after the surgery. not because I couldn't walk. Because some have said that if you walk after surgery you will pay for it. Might be some merit to this

Dr Hakky gave me the article on streching so yes I am streching like he wants. Surger is on a Monday, we are driving up on Sunday and stay thru Wenesday. I hate Atlanta traffic. So the walking will be from car to room, from bed to bathroom and back and room to car to go eat.

hturner12,
It's perfectly natural for you to be in a bit of a tizzy over this. Your penis won't be any longer, which ought to give your wife some comfort, but you shouldn't be any shorter either. Really, you ought to come out of this just about unchanged, except it will work again and it will be much larger when flaccid.
Dr. Hakky is well thought of here, but I do have to wonder about the skin-your-dick method. I'm sure Dr. Hakky knows more than I do about this, but most of us have had the peno-scrotal method, with excellent success. The coronal approach creates a new scar right in a most sensitive area. Even if you were circumcised at birth and he cuts right on the circumcision scar, he could leave more scar tissue than there is now. On the other hand, if he's as good an artist as Dr. Harold Reed, he can close that incision and leave not the slightest mark. It's an art. Also, the coronal approach has the same dorsal nerve exposure as the pubertal(?) approach.
You mention your hip. I had a hip done in 2014, and right now I don't even know it's there. It works perfectly and causes zero problems.
This implant is going to be one of the smartest things you have ever done. Yes, it's going to be very uncomfortable for a week or so, but you are not going to regret this.

Just figured out why he want to use the procedure he is. When the Navy did my vasetomy the cut my sack, so there is scar tissue he would have to cut thru.

T minus 14 I think you said now. Hang in there anticipation gets to be a bear. I am just ten days ahead of your with T-4 days. This is a second go round for me so I have an idea of what it will be like; I want to get it done and be back to manning the pump.
Just hang in there the closer it gets the more the anticipation both bad and good. When it is healed It Is All Good
I wore one out, now to get to try to wear out a second. Thank goodness my wife is understanding and on board with me.
