Im elementary teacher..But from Europe. My surgery in Christmas days ( 28 dicember).. at School 9 genuary.. ( my surgery was more complicated then only implant, i had graft )so i think 10 days are sufficient.

Like Bob said, if you do the surgery the day after your class that will give 13 days of rest. If you can teach your class while sitting that would help more. But just in case, i would reserve the right to take a second class day off. Men here have all had different experiences as well as tolerance to pain. If you ice and stay off your feet you will have less swelling and ultimately a quicker recovery. Hope this helps.
