Fundle,
I'm scheduled for the implant surgery in near future and - as were you - am concerned about cutting the suspensory ligament. I've read the mostly negative threads in this forum but am inclined to trust Garber's opinion. Apparently, he's had considerable success with the procedure. I'm primarily concerned with the loss of axial rigidity due to the weight of the Titan.
Have you had the procedure and, if so, are you satisfied with the result?
Suspensory Ligament Cut at Time of Implant?
Re: Suspensory Ligament Cut at Time of Implant?
After the considerable length loss of the prostatectomy, I asked a couple urologists about it. They way I understood it, they never really cut it. I understood the ligament has a long attachment to the pubic bone and they shave part of the off the bone but still leave part attached or your penis would fall straight down with no support which could damage or break the nerve. Some put a piece of silicone in the cut area because it often grows back together. The silicone was to prevent that. Both said that sometimes things shrink after doing the surgery and short term you might gain 1/2" but long term may lose length and certainly erection angle. 1-2:00 was always ideal to me. I did not like idea of a surgery w/no guarantee and possible angle loss.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Thanks for the reply.
The more I read, the more uncertain I become. Will ask about the severing vs. shaving. Also wondering about the degree to which having had a prostatectomy prior to implant may or may not effect angle of erection and length gain/loss. Agree with not liking the idea of no guarantee. School's not out yet.
