I lost about 1/3 of my previous size. Before, I was 7 1/4 long (according to their measurement) and 6 around (mid-shaft) . Now, I am about 5-5 1/2 long and between 4 and 4 1/2 around (mid-shaft). I have been pumping it daily just over a month now and it hasn't gotten any bigger yet, but some people say theirs got 15-20% bigger after several months/years (LGX, that is).
But the worse thing is the floppy head and the loss of sensitivity and the SST syndrome and the curvature I now experience. Hopefully, you will have a better result than I have so far.........................

Re: Servey
Askew here and this is my 2nd day post op.... Didnt get my script filled till this afternoon so this morning i was in serious pain and stiffness.. I am fully inflated and its seriously getting in the way and walking around with a full on hard on aint cool at all.. 6-7 days of this im told... As far as the pain goes with 3 perc's im good.. It's more a weird feeling than pain... I do however feel like i have a brick in my nut sac hanging... This and the feeling that the head of my cock is being stretched is the worse... Other than these few things, i'm feeling quite optomistic.....craig1088 wrote:Would like to hear about your postoperative pain following your penile implant?
On a scale from one to ten, ten being the worse, were would you have rate your pain at on the first, second, and third day?
0-1 No pain
2-3 Mild pain
4-5 Discomforting - moderate pain
6-7 Distressing - severe pain
8-9 Intense - very severe pain
10 Unbearable pain
Were you left partially inflated after surgery?
Re: AMS 700LGX To Impanted 11/21/2011
Well, the day is fast approaching for my implant to be done. Monday morning, I have to shower with this special pre-op soap that the urologist office gave me to use. I have to wash my penis twice with this soap and the rest of my body and let it stay on for seven minutes to disinfect and to prevent any infection that could be incurred. Then I`m off to the hospital where my doctor is doing the operation. I will be staying overnight because I will be having a catheter place in me for the overnight stay… don`t know why I have to have that placed in me? But that`s what they do after surgery.I should be home after noon time 11/22/2011 Tuesday.

Well Craig, good luck and don't worry, it won't be rel bad pain wise. I usually (never) that pain meds but almost everybody encouraged me to that the meds (loratab?) every 4 hours as it was prescribed (or maybe that was 6 hours?) whether I thought I needed them or not. Anyway, I did tkae them and things went pretty good painwise. I had an AUS done at the same time too. I will pass on that advise to you.
age 74 married, Robotic RP Dec.2009. Implanted Jan 2011 with AMS 700LGX and AMS 800 AUS. (AMS 1500). IPP failed March 2018 , leak. Planning an AUS revision (total replacement) in 2018, now I need the IPP too.
Re: AMS 700LGX To Impanted 11/21/2011
I must admit that I`m very nervous about what is about to be done, I even thought about bailing out and not getting it done, I just don`t like the idea having someone having a scalpel in that area. After all that has been my pride and joy, since I discovered it when I was young kid.

It will be over before you know it.
If all goes well you will not be sorry.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Where do you live? Will a local URO do the job?

Craig ~ so glad for you that you're getting an implant. Mine was done on Nov 7 and so far, the experience has been great...my discomfort (not outright pain) was very manageable with the meds they gave me (oxycodone). I took it for a couple days and then was done with it. Haven't taken any since.
I spent one night and then home. My healing has been very fast, from what I've heard. I hope yours is the same. Not sure what makes the difference, but I think the doc has a lot to do with it.. So far, my girth is greater. Length can take awhile to increase, if it does at all. But one nice thing is that it won't shrivel up like it used to when it got cold. LOL
Good luck with your surgery...hope you'll post your progress.

Re: AMS 700LGX Impanted 11/21/2011
I got home a few hours ago and I am glad to be at home. I am somewhat still uncomfortable, so I will keep it short.
I have looked at pictures of some of the men who posted pictures of themselves. The ones who just had just had implants, with no other things to contend with like pyrones disease, diabetes or revision of any sort. The bruising and swelling looks like nothing to what I saw on me today! I was shocked to see what I looked like the first day after the operation when I first time looked at my penis that poor thing looked like it was beaten up with a baseball bat. The amount of pain I went though was excruciating when I woke up in the recovery room. It took eight units of morphine total, ever twenty minutes to keep me comfortable. That said, I was not out of the woods till about six hours after the surgery. Then I was switched over to Percocet then after I could nod off and get some sleep. I think my pain level is high is because he left me inflated after the operation.
I am going to say good bye and get some sleep…take care to all and to all who are just completed their surgery and to the ones who are about to { read the posts here lately and there is a lot getting new wood implanted here lately } here is to you all!!!! Hope you all have MANY HARD TIMES A HEAD OF YOU.
