My insurance fully covered it but last I knew it was around $18,000 - $20,000

Thank you. I wonder how he gets his price down so much compared to Eid.

NYC is an expensive city to do business in. Plus he is in high demand which tends to keep prices up.

Makes sense.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

Thats how I explain it in my mind. Don't discount that he has pricing power. I bet he doesn't have very many unfilled appointments or very many empty surgery slots. Like a pro sports player. You got to make bank while your hot.
Opposite side of the country from me. My wish is that somewhere in the up & coming ranks of surgeons. There are several that can match his skill & dedication. Lots of men need his level of help.

It seems like there are a number of surgeons who are doing great work now that weren't around 5 years ago (at least from what i can remember).

I'll likely virtual meet with a few of them so I have backup ready for when Eid retires in the future. Hakky seems promising, among others.

Good observation & a wise decision.
Just my own personal feeling here. I hope that as more quality & caring surgeons enter the implant field. That the shitty ones leave the field.

Hakky has an operating room in his clinic. He gets the cost down because you don't have to pay the crazy hospital room fees.

With that said, if you have a complex operation (like mine could have became, but didn't) then he is going to recommend to do your operation at a hospital and then it will cost more than $20k

Yes. I heard that he does the regular implants in his clinic, and the serious cases in hospital (mostly revisions), with the price at 24K.

Easy to understand that he tries to cut out some middle men. But you have to remember that his facilities are not free. Perhaps discounted but I'm sure that he wants a decent return on his investment.

I wonder if hard flaccid qualifies? Have they even heard of it? It's a question I'll be asking on my consultation. It would make me uncomfortable if they haven't heard of it.
