Titan, 5 weeks post op - loose skin?

Well, this leads right into my question on what size I should get for the Titan. My appt. with Dr. Kramer is next week. We will be discussing the next operation, which is to implant a 3-piece.
By what I have read on here, I too should be having loose skin, so not sure what to expect.
Before the great fuckup of infection during surgery, I *know* I was 'Whoa' size, as someone put it, which is about 8".
However, I have a wicked curve that put me at 7 3/4", not to mention the girth. Never measured it, but I am on the thick side.
I am expecting the kinks when deflated, which I am only about 4", but what, too, should I be expecting since I am going to be 8" (give or take)?
Is Kramer going to install a Titan XL 20cm and I will get back 'whoa', along with girth (this is my goal, and I am satisfied, lol)

Spirit, that 2nd pic does give me pause too on how far the rods were inserted. When Dr. Kramer was examining me with the AMS in already, he said that, aside from the probable infection and the pump being too high, since my penis head could bend, my rods were not implanted correctly, and had to be pushed up even further.
It looks good:), but I am just worried what will happen down the road with rods that are not supporting enough tissue. Does this allow for erosion of tissue to the point where the life of the implant is secondary to your well-being (meaning revision even though all is working well, but your dick is falling off, figuratively)?

sounds more like a job for a 26cm titan. Dr Eid measured me at 6.5" stretched and was going to install a 24cm titan. plans changed intraoperatively and i ended up with a 23cm. Of course it depends on your anatomy when they get in there. just curious why you are worrying about erosion; are you planning your revision in the distant future? once you get the titan you will be one of the few members i have seen here who have had both. im sure a lot of guys will be interested in your experience. best of luck.

Well, I am worried about erosion only because of the history of infection. I just scares the bejeezus out of me losing what I had.
Besides, I have people depending on me (wink, wink).
I am a grower, not a shower, but based on what I have read on here, I will be a shower:). It may take a while, but I will be a shower, lol.
I forgot on what thread, but it was Dr. Kramer saying his preference is for the 1-piece because of the simplicity. I agree with him, but with what he gave me, even though its in the plans to replace it later, the malleable I have has a major drawback of my dick poking into my pants/shorts, and when I manage to get in actually hang down, it chaffs my dick skin.

ok, i just found your journal and understand. the malleable is just part of the salvage procedure to keep scar tissue from forming. sorry you had to go through that. infections are pretty rare these days. best of luck with the titan.

Im at 6 weeks.. have that bulge also. And it really hurts when pumped up. Actually I feel like it is holding the implant "back" from stretching. It makes my vas defernes (the tubes to your balls) very sore.

IT also doesn't help that I am a lefty if you know what I mean.

I'm hoping this gets better with pumping.

Hey Spirit- I have the same issue with base bulge and am 3 weeks post op, any hope of it getting better? Have you found any solutions to this yet?

I am 17+ months since I had my implant. I still have bulges on both sides, same like yours. I don’t think it will get better.

I have bulges on both sides but mine are the tubes coming out of my very distal corporotomies right at the base. The tubes get rock hard when fully pumped up... I can even feel the two tubing connectors on the left side and the one on the right side on the same area.

First few months after implant, skin on my shaft was fairly thighs.
Now it is loose like it was before implant. Probably inflation and implant use, stretched the skin on shaft.

I am 5 months after surgery, and when inflated, the skin of my shaft (the bottom side, if you know what I mean, the opossite to the dorsal side), and the surface of that part of the scrotum (the continuation of the shaft to the scrotum), is very very tight. So tight that sometimes almost hurts. That tightness makes the balls not hang, specially the right one. When not inflated, however, the skin is loose when deflated.

Is good to know that with time the skin loosen at least a few. It is very unconfortable that tightness.
