About year four, when my wife was having some health issues, I neglected to activate the unit for about two weeks. I had some problems getting the valve to activate and allow me to inflate. But with some persistence, it became unstuck. Since then I activate it every day and have had no issues. Lesson learned: get hard every day.

That's good to hear!

Is it wise to activate EVERY day, even when not being used for pleasure? I know there needs to be some cycling post surgery, but not sure about long term cycling. I heard a doctor say the more it's used, the more wear and there there is, and therefore, the shorter the lifespan.

I got my Titan in 2008. It quit working in Sep 2020 after 12 years of extremely infrequent cycling. I don't know what this means, but it's a least another data point

Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.
