Just me but if my urologist told me peyronies was caused solely by an immune condition, I would find me a new urologist. Web health, WebMD, mayo clinic, a ton of other medical sites list injury as probable main cause of peyronies. Oh yeah, the peyronies specialist I saw told me the repeated bending of the penis going in and out of of my partner being only semi hard was probably the culprit. Again i only got probably, pinning a doc down to specifics is really hard.
Gene factors could also be involved if you are prone to diseases causing plaque in other parts of body such as hands and feet. So lots of causes.
I listened to my first urologist who said I was just old. Falling on my nuts does not cause ed. I am just old. Take the viagra without any type of test. Like I said, took the stuff, had sex, felt itbend real bad, few weeks later it starts looking wierd and hard lump shows up. Went back to same guy. Tells me no big deal, take vit e. It will probably go away on it's own. Still bitter toward that guy.
Never in my life ever heard of peyronies several years ago. Now it's on all the channels. Learn about the damn curve.
Got worse, worse, 7 inch erection to 5 over 18 months. Curved around till it pointed to my belly button. First uro still saying no big deal. Take more vit e. Then I saw new urologist. Then another. Amazing how much some of them do not know.
Found specialist, doppler, injections not working either, then fairly quick to implant. Again. If I had Known that first month. Right away to implant I would have gone.
