Touching the scrotum less than a week after surgery is difficult with the swelling and pain. Are you still on antibiotic? You need to talk to your doctor about this. Icepacks and heating can reduce the swelling and pain.

Mine was black and blue and it wasn't even the worst one I've seen (see link below). There can be a lot of blood and fluid after surgery and unless a drain is placed, it has nowhere to go but to reabsorb into the body. This tends to cause swelling, puffy ballooning scrotum and black or purple skin for some.

The first 2 weeks after my surgery, I noticed that the swelling was getting more during the day, when I used to sit and walk for hours. Once I wake up in the morning, it used to look much better. So, I guess your long wait at airport the whole travel time hugely contributed to this. The swelling is not a big issue, but you just need to make sure no infection is there, although infection can hardly be the cause in your case, imo.

I have read of others having trouble like you posted. They all seemed to have worked out well though. The first days after surgery are really important to be flat on your back with even your genitals raised. And ice packs used. Doctors and patients also vary. My doctor did not use a drain. Other well known doctors do but not all. It is a trade off. Another incision for a drain is another infection risk. As I said I also had a long airplane trip with a long lay over. Your job now is to rest up and heal. Your body will absorb the fluid you just need to help it as much as you can. Many including me have had a WTF did I do to myself episode after surgery. If you read back through some old posts you will find them. And I had read enough on this site before surgery to know this in advance. Others understand this and have posted some really good info. You might re read the post on this thread.

We are here for you brother. So go ahead and vent your feelings here. Chances are really good that this is going to work out really well and your doctor can help you with this. So do what you need to do to have your doctor want to help you. Keep asking questions and letting us know how things are going. And you can send me a PM (Private Message-upper right of this page) and I will give you my number if you want to talk.

Take care and best of luck to you going forward with this

Yes on antibiotic and stool softener twice a day, and pain med every 6 hours. I added Ibuprofen 200 mg every 6 hours. A frozen water bottle fits slmost perfectlt for under the scrotim. No need for icepacks there. Im taking warm baths twice a day. Ive never seen such black and blue and the swelling. Its really mostly black.

Mine is a lot worse than that. I was not expecting for this being a pubic incision. I am able to tolerate pulling on the pump multiple times a day and it seems like the pain is a little less than yesterday.

I took my last Anti-Biotic last night, I'm off pain meds, got on Anti-Inflammatories, I'm taking 2 warm baths a day. The pain has subsided quite a bit to the point where I can tolerate the pain pumping and deflating.

As of now, what I see I am unhappy with. The cylinders are clearly mismatched and it clearly looks like it. I did see the doc at his office last Thursday, but he said they were even and it would straighten out over time. I'm very skeptical of this. The size just clearly looks mismatched. It looks like 2 CM off on the left vs the right, and I don't think I got the tips that were to be matched to my gland size. That could be an inventory mistake, but I can only speculate. I will be able to use this, but overall I'm very disappointed. The curve laying on my back is substantial.

There was only 1 shot at this and now I'm already thinking revision surgery. 22k with travel and misc expenses out of pocked. I seem to be the most unlucky guy when it comes to doctors, and I have quite a history of botched jobs.

I took the same gamble as you did friend. I had 2 other problems in addition to the one I have now and that one was present when I came out of surgery. The tips did go up in the glans but that is a long story and as I said before send me a PM and I will talk to you about it. At least your doctor would see you about this and you have this on record with an office visit to him. My doctor refused to see me after surgery for 2 different problems. All that being said and even with problems and the less that great outcome I was able to date again and have sex with a partner.

Give this more time for the tips to go up. With mine I was told to do max inflate. Your doctor should give you instructions for how long. As far as baths I was not cleared for them for a long time after surgery due to infection risk. I used a heating pad. The thing is another surgery baring infection will not be done until at least 3 and most times 6 months post op. What you need to do now is your part of healing and cycling. You have a good chance that this will correct and you will be able to use your implant. Maybe not the fast lane express smooth ride you expected. But for most of us this takes time. There are many changes that happen and thing get better over the 1st year. They did for me.

I saw two doctors for my implant (the original surgeon and a different one at 3 months for a second opinion on my results). The second doctor I saw told me to pull my penis back a bit while inflating to make sure the tips go into the glans properly (although that wasn't ever my problem). I read or saw on Youtube from a high-volume surgeon's advice (maybe Perito or Eid) that initially uneven implant cylinders can frequently be due to kinks in the cylinders and once you pump up about 50-70% of max, you should try flexing or bending your penis UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT several times (no this isn't a cheat code for a video game ;) ) and then try to pump some more. It is possible that the kinks are difficult to come out without a bit of bending to help them spread out a bit.

If you can feel the rear tips either under your perineum or near your anus, you may be able to feel whether they are even. It's possible that one is not seated into the crus fully thus the implant on that side looks bigger. It may also be that the tubing for one cylinder has a kink in it preventing it from easily inflating. The maneuver above may help to free up a kink in a tubing as well, even if it's kinked inside the corpora, inside the corporotomy.
