After a surgery the issue is the aftereffects of the anesthesia. Some people can suddenly nod off again without warning up to several hours later. That's why you aren't allowed to drive yourself home. An Uber driver would only drop you off at a hotel front door, and you could possibly nod off on your way to your room. Place a local ad to find a home nurse for the afternoon. There are male nurses if a female is embarrassing. Be safe so you don't jeopardize the surgery.
