Congrats!! This is great to hear. Obviously I have a malleable but it makes me happy to know you're crushing it after all this time.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024. Read my implant journal here.

Would you mind elaborating on "quirky"? I ask because my pump is QUIRKY, so much so that every day I think this thing is going to crap out. It's good to know that pump "bugginess" is not exceptional.

F1, you’re having problems with your AMS MS pump? Send me a private message of what’s going on. I’ll try to help. I have the same pump.

Can someone define what quirky means?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar

Well, when I described the issue to Kramer, he said it sounded like my implant has no “back pressure” coming from the reservoir. Thus, my pump doesn’t get harder as I pump; the pump will just stop pumping, or the fluid will even start to back-flow as I squeeze. This is much more annoying than it sounds, as you’re constantly left wondering whether you have break or not. (This on top of the fact that the damn thing requires constant troubleshooting.) Either way, it’s not normal, and it pisses me off every day that I was talked out of the malleable, which was my original choice, precisely because there’s none of this ambiguity.

Congratulations @rlm1818….. 13 years is awesome! As I write this I’m in the hospital on my 4th revision in almost 10 years.
The first lasted 6yrs second 2yrs and third barely 10 months. I’m really hoping/praying to get at least 10-15yrs out of this one. Did you use a VED at all post op? I used one on the last revision and was told it was not the cause but I’m hesitant to use it again now. Again congratulations on your great journey and it’s good to hear awesome stories like yours own.

Curved guy sorry to hear about your revisions. What implants have you had? And what caused them to break?

Sorry to out you through this but its very valuable for the forum. There are some more guys like you that have constant breaks while others last 10-15 years. Such a strange and annoying phenomenon..

Do you feel your penile tissue has changed a lot between each revision and did they give you bigger implants on each revision?

rlm1818 wrote:I'd say no change in erect shape or size post surgery. Flaccid was larger right away, but I was a significant "grower". I was actually happy for the increase in flaccid size, but I'm about average or slightly above average. My flaccid is now pretty normal for a locker room, whereas before I was well below average. No change over the years flaccid or erect.

I'm 71 now almost 72. Zero interference with my life. In fact by the time post surgical tenderness was gone (few weeks) I had adjusted and it seemed part of me and has ever since. I never really think about it specifically. It's just part of me. Your brain and body simply finds the "new normal" pretty fast. Even when pumping it up and having sex its just now quite natural. The human brain and body are amazing in their ability to adjust.

Thank you so much for keeping this updated. Amazing that you got everything going so well right from the start and for so long.

Wanted to ask you about size. Did you keep your original size immediately post op? or did you have smaller penis on day 1 post op and you needed months/years to recover your natural size back?

cheers
