Similar issue?

I had issues to begin with.

Good luck, Pal.

It's coloplast for me but assume issue is similar. I tried to give really hard squeeze but don't hear a pop. Maybe I need to keep trying. Thank you my friend

Aggressive deflate, aggressive inflate, and do the end squeeze to free up the little ball valve. If major issue (leak) you would have a flat pump. You should be back off your feet in no time!

Thanks sir. It's coloplast for me but assume issue and solution is more or less the same. Atleast one good thing in what you said is and what I feel is the bulb is hard so that's good news I guess?

Perhaps. But the last time that was day before I got inflated and deflated is by my doctor.. so the reset solution is the same like hard squeeze? Or anything else?

I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but maybe get the pump hot from either a hot bath or a heating pad to see if that helps?
Also make sure you don't touch the deflate button while pumping.

Yes sir makes sense. I did try it in hot bath for better accessibility. I am also trying my best not to touch the deflate button. It almost feels like popping open a bottle thats air sealed tight :? I need a magic or a luck right now.

Heat definitely helps. I ended up buying a hot tub right after i got back from surgery and started using it as soon as I had clearance from my surgeon. I still prefer to inflate in the hot tub, even after 4 years, but it's not hard to do anywhere once you get the pump broken in a little more.

My doctor's suggested cycling regimen was to inflate 4 times every day for a half hour each time. That was hard to do at first because of the stiffness of the pump bulb, and the hot tub helped a lot. Now it just feels good.

Best wishes as you continue to progress.

To everybody following the discussion: not only should we be encouraging deepanvee, but we have to remember the stress he could be going through because his wife is sitting in the bedroom waiting on him… ;)

Try holding down the deflate button, firmly, and fully, for a good few seconds.

This may reset the pump.

My scrotum was so sensitive that my mind would not let my thumb squeeze hard enough, because it was going to hurt. I was trying before my first follow up and just could not do it. At follow up my dr squeezed the bulb aggressively and I thought I was going through the roof. This may be your problem. Get your wife to pop it. Also my dr said best place to squeeze is slightly towards the valve block. On the AMS there is an alternate reset squeeze. That is squeezing both ends of the valve block. Dont know if coloplast is the same.

Deep… I think one other suggested this but try squeezing the deflate button aggressive as possible and madhing your penis hard at the same time. At times I’ll squeeze right handed and it’s hard to get it started…. So I squeeze it left handed which I guess pressed the opposite side a little harder…. Mine was very difficult to squeeze at first then by the 3-4 day it got easier. Now been at least twice a day for over a week and a half and now it’s gotten very easy and much easier to deflate… just grit your teeth and give it all you got deflating and squeezing penis…. Guaranty that’s what the Dr will do. When he deflated me at one week I thought he was going to crush my penis in two! It hurt a LOT. I vowed at that point he wouldn’t touch it at later follow ups. Hopefully you’ll get the problem resolved.
